Count Binface has a genuine chance against Nigel Farage!

Justveryveryangry · 08/07/2026 08:12

Sounds crazy but…

None of the major parties are competing…

Farage won Clacton with 46% of the vote…

If the 54% united together to vote for Binface, we could have the most preposterous election outcome of all time!

I reckon this could get some genuine momentum… all the other parties would LOVE this result, and even if they didn’t actively campaign for it, would surely quietly be gunning for Binface to win.

Is a joke MP really what the country needs right now?

Well Farage is a joke. A very bad joke.

Sereine · 09/07/2026 23:11

Bankole claims that Farage racially abused him on several occasions when he was aged 9 or 10. Farage would have been aged 16 at the time - in contrast to Bankole's original claim that Farage was 18. Bankole only attended the school for one year, he didn't know his abuser's name at the time, described his abuser as 'very tall' and says he recognised Farage from his walk;

When you have been the victim of bullying for a year at age 9 or 10, you tend not to obsess too much about exactly what age your abuser is. On the other hand, you tend to remember him as a person only too clearly, not least because he keeps coming back to you in nightmares.

Nice try on Farage's walk, @Clavinova, but we can see he doesn't limp and therefore his gait is his natural gait which won't differ significantly from what it was when he was 18.

Clavinova · 09/07/2026 23:11

You are correct. Will amend to Clav, it is really strange how you go to such lengths to discredit Black and Jewish people's descriptions of Farage's racism. You have flooded more than one thread with your efforts.

Are you saying that Yinka Bankole's testimony would stand up in court? Well more fool you. How can Bankole possibly identify Farage from his walk, when Farage's leg was so severely damaged in the car collision when he was 21. The walk he has now will not be the same walk he had as a schoolboy. Bankole is either mistaken or lying.

As for Jewish people, I have always stated that I have no reason to disbelieve Peter Ettedgui - Farage was aged 13 at the time.

Black and Jewish people's descriptions

Most of the 'descriptions' have not come from Black or Jewish people at all but from non-Jewish, white people, some of whom have a clear anti-Brexit/anti-Reform agenda.

DuncinToffee · 09/07/2026 23:13

They didn't have that agenda when they were racially abused as children.

Clavinova · 09/07/2026 23:14

Sereine · 09/07/2026 23:04

Which is not unusual for someone who is a senior figure in a major political party, holding important posts in the shadow cabinet and currently serving as Minister. It's hardly comparable with a first-time MP in a tiny party.

Sadly, Ed Miliband has only mentioned Doncaster in the Commons 20 times in 20 years.

Who didn't? Most of the witnesses claim to be onlookers.

Then they were children without an agenda when witnessing racism. But you are happy to dismiss it because of the political views they hold now?

If Peter Ettedgui is telling the truth, doesn't that make it all the more likely that the others are too? IIRC, and happy to be corrected on this, some of Farage's Jewish victims preferred to remain anonymous. For obvious reasons.

He wasn't bullied for a year - he only claims a few interactions with Farage. He says Farage was with two others - what did they look like?

A number of the witnesses have obsessed about Farage's age - some have clearly gone out of their way to exaggerate his age.

Farage badly damaged his back in the plane crash as well. What is distinctive
about Farage's walk then that Bankole would recognise 45 years later? Is it a CCF walk? How many boys joined the CCF in the school?

I think you need to treat each testimony individually on its own merit. IIRC there were hardly any Jewish students mentioned at all.

As previous posters have pointed out, apparently you can tell who are the racists by the way they walk.

Its a bit like witches being left handed.

Dismissing people's experiences of racism is indeed 'shame on you'

Does that include Vickrum Digwa's experience of racism?

Just because someone claims to have experienced racism it doesn't necessarily mean that it's true. In order to get to the truth you need to throw the alleged racist into a pond - if they surface then they are definitely a racist and if they sink and drown then they are innocent.

It's not good when some of them have been caught lying. If you sign a letter claiming you are not politically motivated when you are all over Facebook, every day, railing against Brexit/Farage/Reform that surely damages your credibility. How much have you exaggerated/made up to fit your agenda? Several others are clearly not first-hand witnesses - they are repeating hearsay.

An independent regulator placing a price cap on essential goods sold by oligopolies to ensure that people can afford basic energy costs is a wholly different economic and political policy to an MP dictating the price that small private businesses can charge for a particular ice cream product. What if they went rogue and decided to charge a quid? Do you think they’ll get carted off to the tower?!

At it's peak in 2018 the UK had 70 energy supply companies and today there is 22 companies.

Now that's hardly an oligopoly is it?

And what is/was the market share of the big 6 energy companies? 90%? Losing the smaller players in a market is precisely how oligopoly works.

Don't be nasty to poor Nigel?

Just playground banter and he never intended to hurt anybody?

That fits Farage's agenda. Kenyon's was also just a bit of locker room banter.

It's not as though Farage has really denied bullying. He has just said that it was normal for the time.

"I tell you what, if teenage boys together in an all-boys school haven't said things to each other, haven't been brutal in some ways in the late 1970s, I'd be very, very surprised."

ByGraptharsHammer · 10/07/2026 08:28

Tbh I am a bit more interested in what’s going to be said in Clacton. Where Farage is vulnerable is not about racism imo, but money. The more attention that is brought to that, it seems the less his current vote like him. A lot of his vote are male, and not very well off. They do not like the idea he’s a guy who is making money or taking it and doing very little for them. Because if that’s right, then he’s no better, and a fair bit worse than the politicians he claims do nothing.

I don’t think people vote Reform on policy. Farage appeals to their emotions (we can see it on this thread) but people do not like the idea of being taken for fools either.

Remains to be seen if this victim narrative cuts through for him.

Frankly, much as I might not like Farage, his behaviour when he was a teenage boy isn’t relevant… Pretty much all teenage boys will have used inappropriate language and behaved badly towards other boys at some time (yes, even your sons!).

This isn’t excusing it, it’s putting it into the right context… anyone who thinks that poor behaviour when you’re 16 should disqualify you from public office at 60 is being ridiculous.

We will never know exactly what happened at Dulwich college 50 years ago, but in 2026 we can observe that Farage is a thin skinned man who lashes out when he faces the smallest amount of pressure.

I am not defending him, but like a lot of what he says there is kernel of truth to it. British public schools are brutal. Anything about you is fair game. Maybe it has changed, but I suspect not.

I agree.
I loathe farage but i think he should be criticised for his conduct as an adult - there's plenty to go on

DuncinToffee · 10/07/2026 08:36

His conduct continues very much in the same manner, he hides it better but it re-appears when under scrutiny.
