Aibu - dont want to clean up diarrhea.

I am absolutely LIVID my disgusting partner has caught our children's stomach bug and so far this morning i have found:

Diarrhea around the toilet bowl and underside of toilet seat.

Shitty pants on the floor of the bathroom (same distance from toilet as the bin).

Shit stains in the bed.

He has gone to work. Yes, I know.

My aibu is that unless bedbound you are NEVER too ill to clean up your own shit. I have never, ever been too ill.

To avoid a dripfeed YES he has done this before. Vomited all over toilet seat and floor and said was too ill to clean it up. Again I was furious. If you got out of bed to vomit you can quickly spray and wipe it.

Dirty bastard. As you say, even when I had Noro, I cleaned everything up. It’s a health hazard to everyone else for a start.

Why is he your partner?! Even when I was in labour I was able to get to the toilet to throw up. I would. It put up with his attitude and how little he respects you.

I can understand you being furious he sounds disgusting in lots of ways but you seem to know that and tolerate it so I don’t see how the situation will ever change for you.

He is disgusting, he does disgusting things, you put up with it and clean up after him so he knows he can keep being disgusting and doing disgusting things.

other peoples shit is utterly foul (not that keen on my own!)

a mate of mine had bought herself a posh new bedding set (years ago) and had left her dp at home while she went to do the school run (heavily pregnant with his child)

came home to find he'd gone home

and had vomited all over the new bedding,leaving it there for her to find (no attempt to clean it-he just left)

she ripped him a new one,burned the bedding,had another baby with him after a few more shitty acts (pun intended) and then dumped him

he had been that used to his mummy cleaning up after him,he just figured the next female would deal with it as it was too disgusting for him to touch

it wasn't the first time he'd done something like that to other girlfriends-one told her that he'd shat himself and left his pants for her to find on the floor and another said he didnt flush after himself

he was 51 at the time (im going back about 16 years-hes still at it)

Disgusting. He thinks you'll clean it up, he thinks you are his mother as well as the children's. I would lose all respect for a man doing this. You are not his servant. You do it for your children because they are children, not for another adult with no physical or cognitive difficulties. I'm presuming that's true or you would've said.

Good God that's horrific! Why on earth has he gone to work?! What on earth is wrong with this filthy beast? How can he possibly leave a house in that state, what on earth was he thinking?!

Is there another toilet you can use until he gets home and cleans it up himself?

You have to tell him, if it happens again there have to be consequences. He should do the washing up , take the bins out, strip the beds and remake them for at least a month to make up fore it.

I've lived with one who once managed to shit up the FRONT of the loo (and on the floor) and just left it, I have no idea how he even managed that.

Peed in bottles/jars/vases and left them around the house.

Pooed in the back garden (old terrace, only one loo and he couldn't be bothered going upstairs).

If he’s able to go to work then he’s able to clean up. Absolutely gross. If he was really really unable to move much (as in bed bound and delirious) I would clean it. DH would be so embarrassed though.

I would pack his bag and pack his shitty underwear in it and leave it on the doorstep for him.

I know animals with better manners.
