Thought I would create a thread for all the everyday irritations that are too petty to share but get your blood up. Whether your oestrogen and agreeableness has deserted you or you are just generally feeling a bit pissed off with things- I feel it’s always better to get it off your chest. And in that spirit-I will begin…

I have a lovely relationship with Vinted (I buy too much shit on here) but it really gets on my nerves when people:

1. post photos of shoes with foot cheese evident all over the soles (ick).
2. soneone posts something with a stain saying ‘it will come out in the wash’. So wash it you dirty gopper.

Also ‘DH’ stop leaving your dribbling toothbrush and bog blocking shites in the loo for me to tackle. Fucking beast.

Being told this morning that the job i interviewed for in June and got top of a select panel for is now going to someone else. Im so annoyed and down about it. Ive actually spent most of the morning in tears 😢

Being told that a course I applied to do was for beginners, now, a week before it’s due to start being informed that it is for improvers, not beginners and it’s first in through the door with a cheque to enrol. Fine if you make it to campus during 9-3pm to do so, but as it’s an evening course - many will be in actual work….and you can’t enrol in the evening.
I give up.

That is annoying, but surely if you wanted a beginners class you won't be needing to get there to enrol anyway?

@ConstanzeMozart its an adult education course at the next towns college. You enrol and pay at the same time.
Annoyingly, they have advertised these courses since June, (when I applied)and only just issued the enrolment requirements yesterday- the courses all start from next Monday.

What I meant was, if it's now an improvers class, not beginners, and beginners is what you wanted/needed, won't it be useless to you anyway?

@ConstanzeMozart yes, hence why I said I give up. But even if it was still applicable for me to do, getting to the enrolment time would be impossible. So in a way a double hit of WTF!
On the plus side - no winter travelling late at night on roads that are subject to 24/7 roadworks for the next two years.

People using the word 'gently' in emails. It's sooooo passive aggressive. 'May I gently remind you about' something they asked 3 seconds ago!!

Well, I hope you find a course that suits you somewhere else/some other time!

I'm an internal auditor at a law firm. Sometimes people need to check points of compliance with Audit. One of the managers has a new assistant who is supposed to help manager's supervisees (all lawyers) with any questions they have. New assistant is clogging up our inbox double-checking her replies to random, not compliance, stuff.

I miss his previous assistant. We barely heard anything from her.
