Thought I would create a thread for all the everyday irritations that are too petty to share but get your blood up. Whether your oestrogen and agreeableness has deserted you or you are just generally feeling a bit pissed off with things- I feel it’s always better to get it off your chest. And in that spirit-I will begin…

I have a lovely relationship with Vinted (I buy too much shit on here) but it really gets on my nerves when people:

1. post photos of shoes with foot cheese evident all over the soles (ick).
2. soneone posts something with a stain saying ‘it will come out in the wash’. So wash it you dirty gopper.

Also ‘DH’ stop leaving your dribbling toothbrush and bog blocking shites in the loo for me to tackle. Fucking beast.

I had exhausting weekend running around and coming down with something.
Kids off to school,no work today so I thought I’d go for a nap.

I was just nodding off when delivery driver rang my doorbell. Went to the door,no parcel for me. Now I’m fully awake.

Oh that’s irritating. I took today off for just me and couldn’t sleep so my lie in went for a Burton and then went to buy school trousers (last minute because he’s been growing a lot over summer ). None to be had in his size. Tonnes for age 8 weirdly

I’m in busy popular place - feck me the dogs. I’m not a lover as in want to watch or pet them but do not dislike them.

BUT why are so many in shops waiting to trip you up, on long leads so take up more space unnecessarily, make noise and sudden loud barks and squeaks when they have beef with other dogs.

I feel like my holiday is being invaded by rude dog owners and their dogs

They've changed where the buses leave in town. I waste so much time checking where I can get the bus. I can get several but they're all dotted around everywhere just as I got used to where I needed to catch my bus from (I moved 2 years ago and had just got into the habit of knowing where they were)

Being in a European country, where virtually the last language I hear is the lingua franca of that country.
AI everywhere, whether it is bots on a website, unsolicited, verbose explanations when doing a simple internet search or clearly AI-generated photos, films or adverts. YouTube is especially bad in this respect.
Even more irritating is the immediate, subservient back-pedalling when you challenge the response.
AI assumptions based on where it thinks you are or what language you are using at the time.
Being asked to log into things using my Google log in by clicking on a link, just no!
Notifications that I have logged into something, when
a) I know I have
and
b) whatever it was has already sent me either a code or a verification step, which I have clearly completed
People who do not seem to know their participles or how to build tenses correctly in English. Over use of American syntax and idioms.
Addressing hotel or waiting staff in the local language and being asked if I speak English, because they do not speak the local language. Even more annoying is being addressed by person 1 in one language and person 2 in another language - even if I speak both fluently, this is not something I wish to encounter at 07:00 before I have had a cup of coffee.
People, who no longer know or care whether a word should be preceded by "a" or "an".

Just thought of another thing. The poor quality and high prices of clothes.
Most of them are pretty badly made, was wandering round the shops yesterday.
75%+ were made in China, 85%+ were synthetic or man-made material and, frankly, I do not give a monkey's if it is recycled polyester, it is still polyester.

Today I am one achy stiff* rabid old cowbag of a women. Yes Im
bemoaning my lot - my mind is slowly matching my body in its rebellious take on functioning in an adequate way, never mind maximising my last summer holiday of the year (which have been terrible: cancelled due to bereavement or rubbish due to weather)

Today, absolutely everyone is pissing me off.

I was turned down for a job last year when I failed the medical due to high BMI. I have worked really hard to reduce this and finally am at their golden threshold…. Yay for me…. The same day I did this there was a mention in the company newsletter that the medical standards have been updated….. they’ve removed the BMI criteria.

Work. Work is fecking me off. Having to work mostly. Why doesn’t £1 million just land in my bank account and just sort me out. Why do I have to write emails and have meetings with people I do no care about. Why can’t I just go to Marks every day for little snacks and read my books on the sofa, eating those snacks. Why?

I am fucking fed up with my menopausal weight gain.Not fat enough for the jabs, but too fat to look good.

Today - mark on paintwork that has made me worried we have a leak somewhere. My bloody friend not answering my message to confirm (or otherwise) whether she can still make lunch today (before I leave to drive half hour to lunch place). Arthritis in base of both thumbs aching.

Me too. Its starting to make using my phone or the laptop impossible. Also, unscrewing jars and bottles.

Everyone and everything is pissing me off today so I’m going to have a looooong bath.

• DH is being a bit of a wet lettuce around some family matter
• my parents are being as indecisive as usual
• work is just meh
• the other trustees on the charity I volunteer with have done exactly f-all since the last meeting so yet again I’m carrying the load
• ive started to try and get fit but my trainers/walking boots have left me with blisters so I need to take a rest

impatient drivers on what is a small quiet road at 7.15am. Someone roared up behind me and flashed me for reversing out of my drive. Had he been doing the 20 mph limit I’d have been out of my drive and gone but he was going so fast that he was upset he had to let me go. I was more than half way out of drive before he appeared a good 20 houses away I’m not explaining well but I had plenty of time to get out had he not been like a bat out of hell

Trying to find a bottle that doesn't leak. Made the mistake of buying a cheap one and it just leaks! But I don't want to spend a silly amount on a bloody bottle

My raging sciatica pain- just piss off now

I just use old pop bottles now. No leaks like the fancy expensive ones. My current one is a used Highland Spring sparkling water one.

My hairdresser. Cut in chunky ear length layers I didn’t want when I had said I wanted to grow my hair. Finally grew that back out and he put in bright orange streaks amongst my ashy highlights which I had to have corrected and are still lingering.

I’ve booked with someone else now but it’s such an expensive waste of time when they don’t listen. I’ve just looked in the mirror and I’m still cross about it all.
