To use in your Airbnb and on the beach?

Yes to the Airbnb, no to the beach, use headphones please, we don't all want to hear your music.

Harriet36 · 07/06/2026 18:19

Maybe to use in the accommodation but not on the beach. I'd use ear buds.

MasterBeth · 07/06/2026 18:19

In your AirBnB, sure.

On the beach, don't you dare.

plims · 07/06/2026 18:20

Not for the beach. Yes in the AirBnB

Abracadabra12345 · 07/06/2026 18:21

If I’ve paid a lot of money for a rare holiday I really don’t want to hear the next door guest’s music. At a bar yes, because I’ve chosen to be there but not in my room or apartment thanks

Walls are always paper thin

Abracadabra12345 · 07/06/2026 18:22

Of course if it’s an apartment it should be fine…

Error404FucksNotFound · 07/06/2026 18:22

No. My phone plays music loud enough for me to hear.

SkippitySkoppity · 07/06/2026 18:24

Of course. Always bring a little speaker on holidays with me when I want a lil music in the apartment or hotel room. Not on the beach.

itssoeasy · 07/06/2026 18:24

I feel like the beach would be fine? It’s an open area, not like a train…

Absolutely not. No one else wants to hear your music.

Summerbay23 · 07/06/2026 18:26

Definitely not the beach, that is totally antisocial. If you’re on your own why wouldn’t you just use headphones?

Maybe in the apartment if volume low and you’re not disturbing anyone.

I feel like you can just wear headphones at the beach, to give other beachgoers peace.

It’s an open area so your music will intrude on even more people. Categorically not.

Nope, not fine. I have no wish to hear other peoples music. Use headphones when in public regardless of the location.

TheSmallAssassin · 07/06/2026 18:27

No, the beach is not fine, as you say, it's an open area and sound carries. Not everyone wants to listen to your music. I would find that really annoying.

In the AirBnB is fine as long as it's not really loud.

TheSlantedOwl · 07/06/2026 18:27

No. Height of selfishness. Don’t be one of those utter jerks.

Tooobvious · 07/06/2026 18:28

I feel like the beach would be fine? It’s an open area, not like a train…

No. It would be extremely selfish, unless you’re literally the only person on the beach. Other people don’t want to have to hear your choice of music - or, for many people, any music at all. I can’t imagine why you would think it’s OK. Why can’t you wear ear buds?

No way! Why should you inflict your choice in music on everyone else in the vicinity

Nope I go to the beach to relax, swim maybe read I don't want to listen to other people's crappy music whilst there! Use headphones like every other normal person

People just don't want to hear you playing Taylor Swift/Hits of the 90s/Gregorian chants when they're chilling on the beach, babe.

Namingbaba · 07/06/2026 18:31

How do people go through life and not realise people don’t want to listen to your music?

itssoeasy · 07/06/2026 18:32

Maybe in the apartment if volume low and you’re not disturbing anyone.

Because I feel like it’s dangerous to always have headphones on, especially when you’re alone on the beach in the evening.

If someone needs to ask this they are damn well planning on doing it, and will find every reason to rebut not doing it.

I hope you're going where someone will challenge you and make you turn the effin speaker off while on the beach. I reckon that's the only thing you'll understand.

Oh and you have to be 18 to go solo, not 8.

Though, now that you say it, I’d choose Gregorian chant over the other choices.😀

I mean I’m not that arsed? If I’m sat on the beach a way away from others and they have music on, it just makes me smile to see people having a good time? I’d not be blaring rap music, just some quiet Olivia dean or something
