I am a very audio-sensitive parent who is extremely sensitive to sound. Parenthood is loud. But you cannot turn children off. You cannot hear them through earbuds. They are humans, they make (a lot) of sound. Are you saying children should be banned from the beach? But some sod choosing to sit there blaring out their music from their phone in a public place. Urgh. Different and utterly unwelcome thing entirely.

it’s not ok to use speakers in public places. People who don’t live near the beach soend a lot of money and precious annual leave to get to one. They want to experience the beach, not your tinned music. You are literally ruining it for people who may be having their only holiday or day out - taking away the experience they hoped for, worked hard for, and replacing it with something stressful and unpleasant and all about you FOR LITERALLY NO REASON. Because YOU CAN LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC WITHOUT PLAYING IT TO THE BEACH.
