  • cyberjammies- the best most comfy pj’s I’ve ever had I now have 3 pairs
  • snag tights. I’ll never wear other tights again
  • Laura gelled face powder makeup- specifically bronzer to go which has a poof and a mirror built in

Things I use every week:

  • Espresso maker. Our bean to cup machine died after 8yrs and we decided to try a cheaper espresso maker with separate grinder. The coffee is just as good for under £100.
  • Bread maker. £10 from FB marketplace. I don't make a lot of fresh bread as it needs eating quickly but I use it to make pizza dough from scratch every week. I have perfected homemade pizzas (they are incredible) for such a low cost now that I cannot eat supermarket pizzas and takeaways are out of the question. It does take hours but worth it.
  • Phillips lumea IPL. I don't use it often these days as I'm fairly hair free, it's done its job. It is such a blessing to not have to consider every outfit based on whether I've shaved my armpits or legs. From a dark haired woman that had lots of hair, including chin and tache.
  • Revlon one step. I have the oval brush already but I bought the rounded one and it had been great for a bouncy curly blowdry.

Snag chub rub shorts

A snag bra… I got 2 and have been alternating washing and wearing. Wore an regular underwire bra the other day and wanted to cry 😂

I agree on the Snag bras. I bought one to try and then went and bought four more in different colours. I threw most of my old torture bras away! For ladies with big boobs, these wireless bras are a revelation!

MrsBatshitRatshit · 07/06/2026 10:08

A magnetic soap holder which attaches to the shower tiles, so the soap is always to hand and there is no need for a gunky soap dish.

SusanChurchouse · 07/06/2026 10:09

Instant boiling water tap. Just got my kitchen done and between that and the induction hob it is just so much quieter and less steamy. Also instant cuppas!

Don't get the Snag love either. Their tights ripped easily and didn’t fit particularly well (ironic given their tagline is ‘clothes that fit’) as I was between sizes. Their leggings were a horrible material, and their bras didn’t fit me either. And it took £10 in delivery and return fees to find this out.

I like shorts like this underneath because I hate the feeling of having nothing but knickers under a dress! It makes me feel vulnerable 😅 however I got a three pack on Amazon from a different brand that I much prefer - was influenced by a lovely influencer I follow

Please could you tell me the brand?

RonaldMcDonaldTrump · 07/06/2026 10:11

Could you give a little more detail on these please? Where do you get them?

I got them from Amazon:

Kind Patches | Stress Down -... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FY3P8LT9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Dopamine Patches, Dopamine Patche... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0GH26KHDM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I've been wearing one of each daily. I was sceptical but I genuinely have noticed a difference

An eufy Robo VAC

i first bought one about five years ago, a very basic model which did mopping and runabout not using any mapping system although I recently realised it did have a mapping app

I recently upgraded to one that has a mapping system and is self emptying. I can sit on the sofa with a coffee and direct what I want it to do from my phone.

I put the old one upstairs. Clear the floors set it going and shut the door and leave it to get on with it.

Fancy tomatoes on the vine.

Small in the grand scheme of things, but I'm trying my best to lose weight and overhaul my diet and having yummy tomatoes makes me look forward to my salad much more than the cheap, bland cherry tomatoes we always normally buy.

CherryogDog · 07/06/2026 10:22

@MaryBennetThe2nd I have the Wirarpa shorts from Amazon, were recommended on here a while back.
Stay in place and no more chub rub for me!
I tried the Step One brand and they just rolled up.

SaltyOldCrow · 07/06/2026 10:27

A vintage Griswold cast iron pan. After years of trying to season a modern Lodge cast iron pan but still having food stick, I relented and bought a Griswold on ebay that was shipped over from the US. I think it's 1940s or 50s? It is so much lighter and smoother than the modern equivalents I've used, and is almost completely non-stick. It will outlast me and I smile every time I use it.

Leavesandthings · 07/06/2026 09:22

I'm sorry if it's been answered before in the thread, but what is the device please?
Sounds incredibly useful.

I googled prey detection cat flap or something and came up with several on amazon. They get very good reviews but as poster said, very expensive! Might be worth it to prevent having to watch my feet in the morning to avoid various body parts 🤢.
My cat once brought in a bat, I wonder if they would detect that !
I also wonder how on earth he managed to catch a bat …

My ninja duel air fryer - hardly use my oven now

Can I ask as a bigger boobed lady, are these honestly supportive , with no wobbling ?! I like to feel seriously supported with no hint of a wobble !

I got a device for my cat flap that locks the flap when it detects my cats have prey in their mouth. Best purchase ever (although not cheap)

This really made me laugh! If I had a cat I would definitely invest in such a device, having watched a neighbour’s cat bring a still-alive-but-very-wounded magpie into their house via the cat-flap…

Lifeomars · 07/06/2026 10:38

My Ninja Crispi air fryer, the one that come with two glass containers that you swap depending on how much you are cooking. I am in love with it, resisted getting an air fryer for ages thinking it was only good for doing chips in, How wrong I was, I use it so much, doing chicken roast spuds, yorkshire pud in it today and it will take me half the time it used to take using my oven. Did hallomi kebabs, tomatoes and asparagus last night, total time about 10 mins, made a big salad while they were cooking, it tasted fab. It lives in a kitchen cupboard when I am not using it so takes up no work top space.

A large picnic table for the garden which we can all sit round and a Curtis stone pan, nothing sticks to it!!

AHalfling · 06/06/2026 23:45

An air con unit
And these neck cooler things that you put in the freezer

I don't get on with snag tights, I don't understand the love for them. Mine tore in seconds. I also got persuaded by those shorts they sell to wear under skirts and I don't get the appeal they just made me horribly hot and sweaty

Edited

Agree about snag tights, I got the shorts to go under dresses and they’re just like the top of tights, awful in the summer or just generally. My M&S body shape shorts are much nicer.

Can you share a link to the picnic table please! Really want to get one!

SpringsOnTheWay · 07/06/2026 10:50

I’ve got the Lakeland multicooker as my rice cooker

It is small but it does four portions of rice. It’s also a slow cooker so I can use it for small things like rice pudding, small stew, veggie accompaniments or just use it to keep things like mash warm.

it keeps your rice warm for 4 hours. So I use it on club nights when we are all eating at different times. So the main thing in the slow cooker and the carb in the mini one.

I felt the same about the Snag shorts. I have some from Boody which are lovely. Mostly bamboo and not sweaty at all

Bamboo ones are brilliant!

ThatAgileLimeCat · 07/06/2026 11:02

Lily Lilo makeup . My skin recently decided to be allergic to all my usual makeup and I am def not one for going bare faced. I gave Lily Lilo a try and my skin is finally happy with something.

Sage Barista Pro, spenny but👌

I long for one of these. Not in the budget at all but hopefully one day.

Madness101 · 07/06/2026 11:04

I haven’t bought it yet so it doesn’t quite count but I will soon be buying a tow bar bike carrier. I cannot wait for the freedom of taking bikes places, especially as my kids love a bike ride.

My Instant Vortex air fryer is used daily and is amazing.

GrrrrEnergy · 06/06/2026 23:43

I was very sceptical, I ummed for years about getting one and wish I had done sooner! I got a braun IPL pro 5. All my epilators have been Braun so I guess I gravitated towards Braun out of habit.

@GrrrrEnergy can I ask, what colour hair do you have and how long have you been using it?
I’ve just had ChatGPT give me the pros & cons. It seems it’s not a permanent solution, ongoing maintenance is required, and most people aren’t consistent because it’s a faff. The amount for sale on Vinted atm seems to back this up, but means I will at least be able to get one for a bargain. I’m just wondering if it will actually work on my really dark hair.
Tia.

Does it detect live or dead prey

Mine brought home a fillet steak once. Air sealed packet with a few teeth marks (cut off a bit for dcat then

Served it to dh that night as a treat

Dh is now exh. To this day he never found out where that steak or any other pieces of meat that dcat came home with came from.
He just thought I was a loving wife who had shopped especially for him and was amazing at budgeting.
