IPL machine. It was a bit of an expense but it has actually worked and completely worth it to stop me feeling so self conscious and also save me so much time not having to wax/epilate/cream.

I've been looking at these but so unsure due to the cost which one did you get?

I got a device for my cat flap that locks the flap when it detects my cats have prey in their mouth. Best purchase ever (although not cheap)

I was very sceptical, I ummed for years about getting one and wish I had done sooner! I got a braun IPL pro 5. All my epilators have been Braun so I guess I gravitated towards Braun out of habit.

I don't get on with snag tights, I don't understand the love for them. Mine tore in seconds. I also got persuaded by those shorts they sell to wear under skirts and I don't get the appeal they just made me horribly hot and sweaty

"Kind" Dopamine patches and some stress control patches. Genuinely have lifted my mood and motivated me to do things, only a week into using them daily. Usually work really stresses me and my body feels anxious by the end of day but this week I've felt actually ok and I do think they've had something to do with it!

The new HUDA beauty loose powder.
Been absolutely brilliant at smoothing out my makeup finish, keeping my face from looking too shiny and disguises my ever increasingly sized pores. As an added bonus it smells lovely too.

A rice cooker, recommended by a friend who is Chinese.

A little pack of bra extenders. They give me an extra 2cm in the band which is the difference between comfort and discomfort. The next size up is just a bit too big. Best fiver spent for a long time.

A Thermomix. I pondered for ages because of the cost, but it’s possibly the best thing I’ve ever purchased.

A picnic basket from Morrisons. Use it to carry books, suncream, toys, in and out of the garden on sunny days. When the weather is nice I felt like I was spending a lot of time fetching things from the house. Now, I load the basket and get settled outside in one trip. And at the end of the day it's easier to tidy things away back in the basket.

Plus it's very pretty to look at 😊
