i don’t want some paid influencer to tell me, i want real people to!

  • cyberjammies- the best most comfy pj’s I’ve ever had I now have 3 pairs
  • snag tights. I’ll never wear other tights again
  • Laura gelled face powder makeup- specifically bronzer to go which has a poof and a mirror built in

yours?

Does my rescue cat count?

Also, theatre tickets, gig tickets and books.

Fruitbatdancer · 06/06/2026 23:32

Yes! Cats count! 🐱

IPL machine. It was a bit of an expense but it has actually worked and completely worth it to stop me feeling so self conscious and also save me so much time not having to wax/epilate/cream.

I've been looking at these but so unsure due to the cost which one did you get?

GiaGia16 · 06/06/2026 23:42

I got a device for my cat flap that locks the flap when it detects my cats have prey in their mouth. Best purchase ever (although not cheap)

Community Clothing wool jumper in a gorgeous lilac colour. Made that very cold spring more cheerful.

No 7 night cream.

I was very sceptical, I ummed for years about getting one and wish I had done sooner! I got a braun IPL pro 5. All my epilators have been Braun so I guess I gravitated towards Braun out of habit.

ManyShapesOfPasta · 06/06/2026 23:44

Gig tickets.

Morepositivemum · 06/06/2026 23:45

More clothes baskets so place is less of a mess between drying!

Dweetfidilove · 06/06/2026 23:45

Some plants for my little juliette balcony 😊.

AHalfling · 06/06/2026 23:45

An air con unit
And these neck cooler things that you put in the freezer

I don't get on with snag tights, I don't understand the love for them. Mine tore in seconds. I also got persuaded by those shorts they sell to wear under skirts and I don't get the appeal they just made me horribly hot and sweaty

The Bird and Blend iced tea brewing bottle. Also their tea pot in turquoise and a selection of teas.

Iced strawberry shortcake tea is my favourite so far.

Sugarnspicenallthingsnaice · 06/06/2026 23:49

A bean to cup coffee machine.

It's my baby, I have been moved to give it a little cuddle on occasion.

Danikm151 · 06/06/2026 23:50

Snag chub rub shorts

A snag bra… I got 2 and have been alternating washing and wearing. Wore an regular underwire bra the other day and wanted to cry 😂

Ooh yes, I love mine! If I could only save the coffee machine or DH it would be a very difficult decision Grin

RonaldMcDonaldTrump · 07/06/2026 00:02

"Kind" Dopamine patches and some stress control patches. Genuinely have lifted my mood and motivated me to do things, only a week into using them daily. Usually work really stresses me and my body feels anxious by the end of day but this week I've felt actually ok and I do think they've had something to do with it!

coronafiona · 07/06/2026 00:04

Snag nights are great.
ive bought a new (to me) phone with a lot more storage, it’s making all the apps loads easier

Can I ask which one? Also anyone have a juicer? I had a Jo and juice juice the other day and thought I need to be able to make these!

The new HUDA beauty loose powder.
Been absolutely brilliant at smoothing out my makeup finish, keeping my face from looking too shiny and disguises my ever increasingly sized pores. As an added bonus it smells lovely too.

DillyDeclutter · 07/06/2026 08:03

A rice cooker, recommended by a friend who is Chinese.

I thought it would feel like cheating but actually it's amazing. I'll never cook rice any other way ever again (well, except biryani).

TheyGrewUp · 07/06/2026 08:03

A little pack of bra extenders. They give me an extra 2cm in the band which is the difference between comfort and discomfort. The next size up is just a bit too big. Best fiver spent for a long time.

Vinvertebrate · 07/06/2026 08:11

A Thermomix. I pondered for ages because of the cost, but it’s possibly the best thing I’ve ever purchased.

HedgehogShoes · 07/06/2026 08:14

A picnic basket from Morrisons. Use it to carry books, suncream, toys, in and out of the garden on sunny days. When the weather is nice I felt like I was spending a lot of time fetching things from the house. Now, I load the basket and get settled outside in one trip. And at the end of the day it's easier to tidy things away back in the basket.

Plus it's very pretty to look at 😊
