That made you think - what a knob! And that you are well rid of them!

lighthearted thread -

I’ll go first -

Recently my ex changed his profile picture to this wanky AI generated image of him in the middle with a halo and two angels either side… he actually gave himself a halo 🤣 What a knobhead! Like he was Jesus 😳(He was a massive narcissist. My ex. Not Jesus)

What are the wankiest things your ex has ever done?

Turned up to represent himself in court in an ill fitting suit wearing trainers with a briefcase 🤣

Kicked off at the same Court hearing because my solicitor had asked for a closed court for the hearing due to his new partners behaviour towards me and my daughter. Ex then screamed at me “I’m going to make (insert his new partners name here) DD’s new mummy”. That did NOT go down well with the judge.

Got a tattoo with DD’s name on it for her 5th birthday then proudly showed her it at his supervised contact, he didn’t get her any presents. I could write a book 🤣

My ex did exactly the same thing with the tattoo and did a lot of ill advised shouting and telling porkies in court. Could they have been the same person or are there just an awful lot of w&*kers about! 🤣

One of my exes had her daughter's name tattooed on her. She had four children altogether but hadn't seen any of them since the youngest was 5 and eldest 13. I always found that very odd.

I’ve know one but I think she could be classed as a “friendly psychopath”… broke up three or four marriages that I know of before working her way up to her current multimillionaire boyfriend. However it’s well know in local circles that he’s a swinger so I guess the luxury lifestyle comes at a price.

She probably prefers it that way... outsources the job of sleeping with him.

They were all different boyfriends btw

All different? Flippin eck - you don't half pick em! Sorry. I hope you're with somebody worthy of you now!

I don't trust anyone who doesn't see their own children.

I know in some cases they have been alienated, but generally there's a good reason that not one of your children want to see you, especially when they are in their teens.

Best case scenario the NR parent just hasn't bothered (which is so damaging for children in itself), worst case there has been some sort of neglect/abuse.

I most definitely wouldn't now, and to be fair, I didn't know at first. I didn't ask too many questions at first. Other than her daughter who was a teen, the others were adults at that point so it would seem fairly normal that they weren't living with her. I assumed her daughter was away at boarding school or lived with other relatives or something such as.

Looking back, this was so foolish of me given her lifestyle but I wasn't from that world at all.

The first thing my ex did after the divorce, was buy a gold car.

He looked like such a sad twat driving along with his sunglasses on and his window down on a grey rainy day in Preston 😂

Pericombobulations · 07/06/2026 23:18

Ok had a long think as last ex was a wanker and finally remembered an incident I had really tried to forget.

He larp's (live action role-play or D&D for those unsure). He wrote a long backstory for a character that included the viking Sun Wheel, which he drew on his cheek and went around a northern city pub crawl with this painted large with black ink.

Again for those unaware of the viking Sun Wheel, most people would recognise it as a swastika.

How he wasnt hospitalised I will never know, but he deserved it for that.

I seem to remember a lot of mid to dark greys and a very red letterbox but that was made up of about 5 reds (just to liven things up)
I think there was a 'v' on the letterbox but a swirly 'v'
Im sure her dress had pinks in it
Thank you so much

Is it similar to this? I've seen it as a chart on Pinterest - by Faye Whittaker

The ultimate wankerish line a separated man with children can trot out is 'She won't let me see them.'

Your response to this should always be, 'what have you done to address that?'

And watch them flounder like a goldfish because 99% of the time it's a complete fabrication and they've let contact slide because they can't be bothered.

Exactly! Even if ex partner is a nightmare, that's what court is for. If you've not even tried then you didn't care in the first place.

If we were out somewhere and he’d had enough, he would get into an argument with a bouncer / bar staff and get us chucked out. Obviously only when it was something I was enjoying, not something with his friends.

NeuroSpiceyMummy · 08/06/2026 11:03

My ex blasted ‘fake love’ by Drake when I went to pick up the last of my things from the house. Turns out rather than “sitting at home for last 6 weeks missing me and the dog” he was shagging his ‘best mate’ who was “like a sister” to him and actually got her pregnant whilst we were still together. Dodged a MASSIVE bullet there. Oh he also had an affair and wanted to run away with my current partners, cousin (she was a ‘friend’ of mine) early on in mine and my exes relationship, i found this out after we split - because she told my current partner and told him not to tell me 😂✌🏼- but she re-introduced me and my current partner before all this and we are now very happy with 2 kids! Silver lining and all that!

Mine used to go clubbing in jeans and a jumper. Fair enough - but he wouldn’t wear a t shirt underneath so was always boiling.

About 27 years ago,he walked out leaving me with 2 small kids,a shit load of debt and no money

He would come round to my house (to check i wasnt shagging anyone else or heaven forbid, have some sort of peace from him) and would sit there smirking at me (I was so scared of him as he was violent and controlling)

Anyway,id scraped enough cash together to buy myself a cross stitch just for something to do on an evening when the kids had gone to bed

I spent the best part of 9 months stitching it-it was a victorian girl putting letter in a postbox and very detailed

I put blood, sweat, tears and my soul into making it and when the kids where about,it lived in a drawer away from small hands

I was about 20/25 stitches away from finishing it when he swaggered in,that smirk on his face and the attitude of 'im here to see my kids and you cant stop me'

He went into the kitchen to make himself a black coffee and a poke about in my cupboards/drawers

He found my cross stitch, made his coffee and poured the whole lot in the drawer deliberately

It was ruined (i tried to save it,but it was too stained) and his smirk didnt match the 'I just dropped my coffee by mistake, soz'

Daft thing now,he knows im not scared of him at all and runs away when he sees me but I never did replace that cross stitch as it was one from an end of line sale, which is how I been able to afford it-I've trawled Ebay but have never found it again in kit form

He never came into my home again-he knew he'd gone too far and that was my death by the last cut

Didn't stop him dragging me through the courts to control me until he lost interest

He knows that if I get within arms length of him,ill have him by his tiny bollocks and i'll launch him into space

Is it this one?

The mat chewing accusations reminded me of how now ex accused me of warping the table his parents gave us, a bit of water has spilled when putting a vase of flowers on the table. It wasn't even on the warped bit and it had been warped when we got it. But no it was me and how could I do that to his parents' precious table. When his brother visited he noticed the table, and started talking about how when they were little they used to fight bit to sit at that end of the table because it was so warped. Never got an apology for being blamed for something that happened (presumably) before he was even born, or at least when he was very young, which would have been before I was born.
He was a few years older than me. When he turned 50 he wanted a big party, hall hired, everyone he knew invited, food, drink, music, I decorated a big cake, the works. Which I organised for him plus a celebration on the day itself. Come me turning 50, wasn't honestly bothered about a party, but it would have been nice if he had organised a nice meal, a weekend away or something. My birthday was actually on a Saturday but he had a hobby thing organised and we went to stay with his friend who did the hobby too and his family. His wife felt sorry for me and took me and the children out for the day and then a meal in the evening. Because I'd had a meal out for my birthday apparently I didn't need another one, or a cake. I was happy to have something a different day, to have gone away the next weekend, or something. But no, is had my birthday celebrations, didn't need another one, or even a cake. He probably had bookings with his band, can't remember, things with his band always got priority, when the children were younger even if I had had something in the diary for ages, if a band thing came up, it was up to me to organise a sitter or not go if I couldn't. The number of times we didn't get away on holiday as planned because a band thing came up, or had to get back early again because some sort of band thing...everyone else in the band was available, couldn't they do it without it, but no he was too important because he was self appointed leader and I guess he couldn't trust the rest of the guys not to do things that he disapproved of....anything that seemed to him to knock him.out of being the important one, he eventually joined a couple more bands and he found it so difficult if anyone challenged him. I would be kept awake hearing him.moan about how unfair it had been .

There is no such thing as too many craft supplies, @Delladuck - and if your dh carries on saying that, I will fix him with my best Stern Look (TM).

I have long believed that buying craft supplies, and actually doing the crafts are two, entirely separate hobbies! 😂😂😂
