Recently my ex changed his profile picture to this wanky AI generated image of him in the middle with a halo and two angels either side… he actually gave himself a halo 🤣 What a knobhead! Like he was Jesus 😳(He was a massive narcissist. My ex. Not Jesus)

My ex would take the kids out shopping,point out random but expensive toys and get them all excited about having them

Then he'd say 'mummy will buy it for you' knowing full well,I was scraping my purse to buy basics while he walked about with 10k cash (as explained somewhere in this thread) from his drug dealing

I'd then have to be the bad guy for saying no

He wonders why they dont want to know him as adults

was around him 5/6 months before he started moaning about his child’s mum, first he didn’t want the baby, then it was petty things saying he wanted to get the £20 he sent her because she was rude to him and asked her to transfer it back, she is someone with other children and told him she is struggling and he earned 4k month. Anytime he would have an argument with her it was “I don’t want child anyway I have my other child with a mum I get along with” and he was only giving this woman £30 a week and still moaned about jt

Taking the dressing gown off our 5 year old's back in the middle of winter 2 days after he was discharged from hospital with pneumonia. The reason... he paid for it! We had separated a few months before for nasty stunts such as that one.

This was back in the 1990s.

My ex went on a lads holiday to Magaluf not long after we had split up. When he got back he came round to my house to show me the holiday photos and to see if I would like copies of any.

I was 18 and had been with my BF for six months. He announced he was spending a year abroad. There was no discussion of our future together, so of course I assumed we'd broken up. This idea was confirmed in my mind when his occasional letters and phone calls bragged about all the girls falling over themselves to go on dates with him.

A few months later he turned up on my doorstep. "Abroad" had not been a happy place. He admitted the dates had been fictitious. He'd been lonely. Could we pick up where we left off? Well no: I'd acquired a new boyfriend in the meantime.

My ex had been so sure I'd take him back that he'd missed the last train. It was a dangerous neighbourhood, so I let him stay and sleep on my sofa. He then proceeded to give me the lurid details of how he'd cheated with his best friend's girlfriend while abroad.

When DD was in primary school, they all had to draw two pictures in art. A company came in and framed all the pictures and held an art gallery after school that parents were invited to view. Naturally you were pressured to buy the pictures at an extortionate price.

DD is absolutely rubbish at art. Her pictures were they usual style of pin on the fridge for a week then sneak it into the bin. I was ushered into the art gallery and pressured into buying the pictures but I didn't have any money with me. It was on again the following evening, so I said maybe we could come back.

My ex was picking her up after we got in from school and I suggested she took him to see her pictures. He popped her back to school and she said I was going to buy them tomorrow. He deliberately bought them to stop me buying them.

I knew he'd do that, so I got out of buying the pictures and DD was happy as someone bought them.

My ex was quite racist, hated immigrants “taking our jobs” voted out of the EU etc, 3 months after we spilt he met an Eastern European lady, has been dating her for years now. Raised a lot of eyebrows between our friends.
Our teens don’t bother with him now, but I used to chuckle when they’d share that her parents were over from home country, didn’t speak any English and spoke in native language all evening whilst their dad sat there in silence 🤭

Snap! My ex has taken his girlfriend to holiday resorts - even the same hotels - that we went to as a family for years on end.

Demanded 50/50 childcare split on divorce and then kept going on holidays with his new girlfriend on the weeks DC were supposed to be with him, without even mentioning it to me. I was just expected to pick up the pieces. My older one was a uni student but the younger one was still at school.
Got outraged when I had enough and went to CMS and claimed maintenance as he was not providing any money for the extra weeks the younger DC was with me. Well, he gave DC £10 to cover three weeks stay.
I was apparently unreasonable and was going to make him homeless as he wouldn’t have enough for the bills if he had to pay maintenance. Funnily enough CMS disagreed with his calculations.

I also dated (for about three weeks) a man who had been trying unsuccessfully to write a play for about 15 years. He then said (after three weeks) that he didn’t want to see me again as I was distracting him from writing his play 😂 it’s great when you hear that bullet whistling past…!
