Men... are u okay? What is the problem?

I think this will be removed / deleted but i am not saying anything untrue. Or factually incorrect. But here goes...

Since having my little girl just over a year ago I have started resenting men. I dont know why as my partner isnt bad. I just see them in a whole new light.

Firstly, years ago women couldn't vote and it was the done thing that they would look after the children and home and men were the providers. But, many women (not all!) Now have careers, go to work, earn their own money. We can now vote. Aswell as have a career, many women still take on majority of the housework and childcare. Not because men always refuse but they just dont, we do things automatically. Men, just dont think.

The other day I was driving to visit family and saw a car with its hazards on in the slip road... they have broken down i thought. Nope. A man was standing behind his car pissing. It got me thinking, ive never seen a woman pissing at the side of the road. We just wouldn't, so how do men find themselves in this situation? My dog can hold its bladder until "walkies" so what's the issue?

I read that men commit like 91% of murders, most rapes are men and men mostly abuse their partners. Men are more likely to commit suicide, men dont open up and speak about their feelings.. some men transition to become "women" and fight to enter women spaces. I know women transition to men but you dont hear about them!

I just dont understand. Men.. what is the actual problem??? Apart from sperm, what is your actual purpose??

The posts on here today.. oh my man was messaging a coworker inappropriately and he cant get her moved as it'll be suspicious... WHAT!! Nah he has played his part, otherwise it would be as simple as, hey HR this person is being inappropriate and its making me uncomfortable, here are the messages 🤣🤣

Or the other one, my man spent lots of money on my credit card and refusing to pay up... WHAT🤣🤣

What the fuck, we all play our part to with enabling such shit behaviour.

I’d take my chance with a woman over a man any day of the week. Yes there are some horrific women, but not on the scale that men are. Not even close. Statistically proven.

Im more scared of women then men.

To go back to my point do you think it is a good idea to warn girls about men but let them think a woman being present makes them safe?

But the message got some of those women/girls killed because they thought the woman meant they were safe.

I wondered why but then thought if you can't squat perhaps then maybe you do need to take it all off?

Yes, i am aware the gender pay gap is supposedly there because of the disparity where women take time off for maternity and child care, not that women are actually paid less. However those are life choices so im not sure why you think there is a gap...or are you advocating to be paid more for doing less work?

That’s true, and very unfortunate. Still doesn’t change the fact that men are statistically more dangerous than women. That’s not the same as saying dangerous women don’t exist (I’ve met a few).

The internet has proved to have many advantages but also many dangers. Not only porn but as a meeting place for people with the same warped ideas. They encourage each other and validate each other. People will reject strict censorship though.

But there is no logical reason not to warn girls that the dangerous ones can also be women. That isn't saying women are worse or as bad but being realistic and saying if you wouldnt get into a car with a strange man why would you get in if it was a man and woman. If the point is to protect girls/women then give them all the information.

@LeaderBee it’s hard to know where to begin with someone who clearly has such a limited parameter to their knowledge. The knowledge gap I fear would take hours to fix.

Have you considered that without women taking ‘time off’ as you call it, from paid work, that there would be no business, no trade… no… furthering of the human race?

I've got two men, both kind and gentle, thoughtful and generous. Both lovely! I don't know how I'd manage without a man, big and tall, strong and hardworking.. And 2 sons both lovely, (but I'm biased)!

I worked with a woman who had three weeks off when she had her baby and that included a two week holiday in France. Not something I'd choose but it's possible. I hated going back after nine months but we aren't all the same.

Men spend money as well you know. And yes, raising a child is work, but it isnt work that generates money?

As previously mentioned men invented basically everything you use, want, and rely on. So I suggest you do without every single thing in your life including procreation and then ask “of what use are men?” Other than keeping a stable and prosperous society and providing everything we all actually need throughout the entirety of history of course.

You are not wrong. It is not all men but is always man. My partner is a man, and he has his quirks but even he warns me about “some men” and calls them out on his shit related or not. The good men have no issue recognising and pointing at the shit men. And in my view this is their purpose and where the whole protection instinct kicks in - it is to protect us and our daughters from the bad man out there.

Before I post this I should point out I am a man but: I do remember one occasion (quite a few years ago) when a female friend of mine very obviously went to the toilet in a phone box! In her defence it was after a night out and she was extremely drunk!

I know this is completely besides the point but... who on earth takes their shoes and trousers off to piss behind a bush??? Surely you just squat as wide and low as possible, hold your knickers and bottoms forward out the way and hope for the best? If I took my bottom half clothing off every time I probably would have been arrested for indecent exposure by now as there's no way I'd be getting everything back on in time before a poor unsuspecting dog walker came around the corner!
