Dunno how your vote works. I’d say solidly middle class and very nice. And a total bargain compared to prices in my neighbourhood.

It’s not a working class home or an upper class home, I’d say. I suppose that leaves middle class. Isn’t middle class technically, statistically, run of the mill though? Maybe not at this price range but middle class is quite a wide range these days.

Slightly weird question, but I would say this is the home of a relatively affluent middle class person. Everything is finished to a high standard (though the decoration / style choices are a bit bland) and there are expensive extras like nice landscaping and maybe a hot tub???

Nothing middle class about that house. No books, art, evidence of travels, musical instruments...just an awful lot of fake plants.

It's far bigger than houses most people live in. The decor is uninspiring but very current - panelling, navy blue kitchen, dangling black metal and glass lights etc. So you need to be relatively affluent to buy it but I don't think it's the decor you'd seen in a stylish home. It's expensive B&Q rather than Heal's.

You would looking at a mortgage around the 3k a month mark.
So £36k a year just on mortgage... another £3.5k on council tax. So housing alone needs a £50k pre tax salary.

I'll bite. It might be more expensive than an average house but at best it's upper working class / lower middle class. The decor is not nice, there's no sense of class, style or history. Quite a few tacky features (like the hot tub). And it's a new build.

High income does not mean middle class. A footballer or pop star could have very high income but that doesn't mean they are from a high class.
