Strange smirk when everyone else looks shocked and taken by surprise.

I’d assume that’s because he’s completely in cloud cuckoo land, with no idea what’s going on.

Also a bit deaf.

And the whole storming of the White House in 2021 when Trump lost the election was the peaceful rational Right was it?

That was over five years ago. Now we have leftists trying to shoot my elected officials, the President I voted for, and trying to shoot ICE officers (big group in Texas tried to enter and kill a detention facility. Another lone gunman targeted an ICE agent but killed a migrant instead)

And you don’t even police the disgusting rhetoric here, just try to justify it by saying Hitler! Fascist!

GloiredeDijon · Yesterday 07:48

Because leftists glorify political violence. Even on this thread you can see them.

I am actually more right-wing than Trump in most respects. So I feel threatened by them
too. They’d kill me without a second thought and brand themselves virtuous.

Trump isn’t a politician so this would not be political violence.

He isn’t left or right.

He is a sub category all of his own.

By and large ordinary people in the UK don’t give a stuff if the US elects a republican or a democrat but the election of a amoral psychopath is a different kettle of fish altogether.

We don’t look forward to his death because we are left or right but because those with two brain cells to rub together see he is the biggest threat to world peace to ever appear in a western country since Hitler.

We remember Hitler very well in the UK.

We can still see the scars throughout our country and certainly I, like many people, lost relatives to bombs and I remember my mum and grandmother telling me about being bombed out of their home and subsequently being evacuated.

The US citizenry on the other hand has no grasp of years of actual war on their own doorsteps.

War to them is something which happens a long way away, often in countries many (including Trump) can’t even pick out on a map.

Perhaps this is why we see the threat so he poses clearly and yes, we want to celebrate his death much as we celebrated Hitler’s death.

For the greater good.

😂😂 Do you know what fascism means?

Leftists say this shit but pretend it’s not an incitement to violence.

...conveniently ignores all the violence provoked by trump and their own. The 2 previous shooters were maga.

RingoJuice · Yesterday 07:50

Bumb13B33 · Yesterday 07:35

Do they? I thought it was the right wing NRA who think it’s ok for children to be shot in schools.

Actually NRA types are not big on Trump because he’s done nothing on their pet issue. Try to think of any policy he’s pushed on it, you probably can’t, and honestly you are utterly ignorant about American politics.

WhatAMarvelousTune · Yesterday 07:51

I hope someone shows him the footage from the side of the stage where Vance is rushed off a good 8-10 seconds before they move Trump at all. I’m sure he’ll take it well that Vance is well away while the guy behind Trump dithers.

Yep, clearly staged. It's boring now.

This is also true.

Assassination would only cement the administration and maga movement, it needs to crumble bit by bit around their ears so they pay for the destruction and mess they’ve created.

For god sake, are there no competent assassins these days?

Bloody love this! 🤣😂🤣

Again, they failed to protect him in good time. Apart from one guy standing in front of him
He was not put on the floor quick enough at all

Yes! I appreciate Trump is large and not very mobile so he wasn't capable of dropping to the floor very quickly but even when the bodyguards arrived, Trump's big head was clearly exposed for several seconds.

Darker · Yesterday 07:55

Trump has a violent nature. Rape. Insurrection. War. ICE.

You don’t have to be political or ‘lefty’ to think that the violence he inflicts and incites on others could predictably come to his own door.

I certainly think he’s capable of thinking of staging an attack but I’m not near to believing that is what happened here.

I also agree that an assassination would bring more chaos and violence. It’s not the answer.

If trump had been shot at by even one leftist he would still be tweeting about it now. Get a grip of yourself. Jan 6th ...maga... assassination attempts...maga....Renee good Alex pretti murders ...all maga ...no matter how you want to dress it up. Dont come on with your bs maga empty headed nonsense...it might be easy to fool the maga loons but thank god there is a more discerning audience here.

Thomas Crooks was a registered republican who was a keen hunter. Not sure that makes him a leftist. 🤷‍♀️. Sounds more MAGA oriented to me.

CurlewKate · Yesterday 07:58

For me, a big concern is, when hearing about the potential shooting of the “leader of the free world” the first thought of many of us, including me, is “I wonder if it’s true?” That says a lot about the decline in public faith in our political leaders and systems.

Did they have to wake him up first ?

No it’s the leftists frothing themselves into hysteria, justifying their own violence.

I voted for Trump. I think ICE should have gone harder. You shouldn’t be allowed to kill me or people like Trump, Stephen Miller, merely because you don’t agree.

TheAutumnCrow · Yesterday 08:02

If it was staged, it was a shitty thing to do to Erika Kirk. She looked actually traumatised.

MyWildOliveGoose · Yesterday 08:02

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought this 🤣

Plummagic · Yesterday 08:04

Maybe next time.

MagpiePi · Yesterday 08:06

Interesting that the shooter wasn’t killed there and then. I wonder what his background will be and what he will have to say about the incident.

Darker · Yesterday 08:06

You shouldn’t be allowed to kill me or people like Trump, Stephen Miller, merely because you don’t agree.

I didn’t say that. I said very clearly that I didn’t agree with assassinations. But i think people who are violent make a violent death more likely.
