You are pathetic. Get a life.

This.
And those thinking it's a set up, why would they promote the fact that security is clearly not as hot as it should be? I mean, these were all vetted invitees only!

Because he has lost any semblance of control on the wars he keeps starting so he’s reverting to the same crap as always.

He has never been to a correspondent’s dinner before because the president needs a sense of humour. Now all his supporters will rally round and say how brave he is.

Remember how he beat COVID in about 24 hours?

Even if this was legit, why would people keep believing him

I cannot stand him Donald Trump and I cannot wait to see the back of him. But political assassination is appalling. It is anti democratic and sets a dangerous precedent that harms all of us, regardless of where we stand. we cannot resort to lawlessness when it suits us because we then lose the legal foundation that protects everyone. Only a fool would think otherwise.

He is anti democratic. He had tried to get election results overturned, instigated Jan 6 and thinks he can walk into any country and take it over,

He is, at best, a total nut job.

He deserves whatever justice he gets in whatever form it takes. I’m an American and he’s destroyed my country.

And how did Biden help it?!

PomplaMouse · Yesterday 04:29

This should never have been allowed to happen.

Because he should have been hung after Jan 6.

CoffeeAndACroissant · Yesterday 04:56

He has never attended this event before. Throughout either of his presidencies.

And all of the sudden he attends and is shot at again?

Bullshit.

X is full of bots all saying this means that the ballroom needs to be built.

It's too convenient. Surprised they didn't give him another opportunity to stage a fist in the air photo though. Probably too demented at this point to be able to remember what he needs to do.

Exactly. Can you imagine him getting up and making a funny speech and being self deprecating? That’s why he hasn’t gone before.

To the idiots who were wearing sanitary towels on their ears last time, they will just think he’s so brave and tough.

And yes, I’m sure the ballroom will be back on the agenda.

Tbf, he didn’t argue with foreign leaders in front of the press pack, publicly slag off his allies and go on totally unhinged aggressive rants about killing people and claiming random countries.

Tinytimmy123 · Yesterday 05:18

Trump ...whew they missed !
The World and Melania ...damn they missed.

Clinicalwaste · Yesterday 05:59

I am really shocked at the comments wishing death on somebody because of their political views. That is appalling. When I don’t agree with a politician I don’t wish them to be murdered. Have people in the UK forgotten David Amis and Jo Cox. If trump were to be assassinated it would be a disaster, the ramifications would be huge civil/global unrest, leading to god knows what. Biden was far worse and people didn’t call for him to be killed. People calling fro trumps death need to get a grip.

countrygirl99 · Yesterday 06:01

Not because of their political views but because their actions keep causing other people to be killed. Stop one to save many. No different to the police killing a school shooter and the US seems quite happy with that scenario.

How many children have died because of Trump for no reason whatsoever.

Were you saying similar when Trump had Iran's head of state assasinated a few weeks back?

Stormtrooper school of shooting innit?

The ramifications of him staying in power are absolutely detrimental to the entire world. As a person he is a pdfile, an abuser, a graper , narcissist and a complete madman who has absolutely NO LIMITATIONS on his actions. He is doing what he is doing to avoid prison (where he should be), and to fill his pockets. If the epstein files were properly redacted I believe he would be categorically deemed a murderer . This isnt about republican or democrat...he is an unhinged loon surrounded by sycophantic enablers who have blood on their hands ,-many of whom who are also in the files, dems and republicans.

I would rather he stayed alive to actually experience true suffering by being sent to prison (it will never happen sadly) he has gloated and boasted of the suffering he has inflicted on so many, so i for one wont be crying when he goes.

The German dictator didnt deserve our tears why should trump.

And now no one is talking about the fact the deputation to discuss peace in Iran has been cancelled again…. Im not saying that theres manipulation going on, but keep an eye on oil prices….

Even at museums or festivals, security checks my bags before letting me in. It’s a legitimate question to ask how this could have happened in the first place. When my logic is challenged, I follow my intuition.

Well, clearly calling for someone to be killed is wrong.

Trump has wished death on political enemies, celebrated their deaths and enabled Israel to bomb and kill its way through 80k Gazans, do their lives not matter to you? clearly not.

However, you say Biden was worse, did Biden starve the ordinary Cubans? kidnap the leader of a UN recognised country, bomb a country (killing 1000s inc children) which has led to a world wide economic disaster?

Oh and Trump wants to unwind NATO, backs Putin, even when Russia threatens USA lives, wants to cause another Falklands war.....

The manner of the attempts on Trumps life is strange to say the least.

Trump will almost certainly seek a 3rd term, he wont go quietly... now that WILL cause huge unrest.

And how did someone so heavily armed defeat all these security checks? How come not one of these highly trained SS agents managed to hit him in the knee or arm to bring him down. Why was he shirtless? Surely that would have been a big clue when he walked in?

The video shows him running through a security checkpoint and the secret service immediately reacting, including more coming from other areas. He’s then stopped by the secret service before getting to the room where the dinner is being held.

So the security checkpoint had big holes in it? There must have been a clear passage for him to run that fast through it. How come he managed to hit someone but none of the many SS agents even nicked him? Who was it? Usain Bolt? Roger Black?

I wonder how all of you would feel if your king, queen, prince of Wales, or prime minister was shot at. A man died in Pennsylvania, it wasn't pretend or a joke.

It might save a lot of lives if he was shot to be honest. Same with Hitler if Munich had been successful.
