Hw can’t keep crying wolf every time he thinks he needs a boost in the polls - it’s getting ridiculous. And some poor soul always dies 😔

Darker · Yesterday 02:41

The footage on the BBC seems odd. Like Trump didn’t react to the shots… and wanting the dinner to continue?

Maybe he couldn’t hear the shooting. What was written on that piece of paper?

Dinner is off and he will do a press briefing in half an hour

Okay so it seems odd that it happened on the one night he’s supposed to be funny.

Im sure his address will be about how he’s the best at surviving staged attempted assassination

The New York Times has some pictures of the aftermath and is doing live updates on that page for anyone interested.

For god sake, are there no competent assassins these days?

I cannot stand him Donald Trump and I cannot wait to see the back of him. But political assassination is appalling. It is anti democratic and sets a dangerous precedent that harms all of us, regardless of where we stand. we cannot resort to lawlessness when it suits us because we then lose the legal foundation that protects everyone. Only a fool would think otherwise.

I thought he'd just pull a sickie rather than turn up. But no, Trump can't do simple.

This.
And those thinking it's a set up, why would they promote the fact that security is clearly not as hot as it should be? I mean, these were all vetted invitees only!

countrygirl99 · Yesterday 03:12

When did logic and common sense have any place in that administration. He didn't even bother to get a fake scar on his ear he thinks people are so gullible.

mumofoneAloneandwell · Yesterday 03:17

I disagree. He seems incredibly simple.

I wonder how all of you would feel if your king, queen, prince of Wales, or prime minister was shot at. A man died in Pennsylvania, it wasn't pretend or a joke.

It has happened. Not just shooting, bombings too. Oh and a mortar attack.

GarlicFind · Yesterday 03:57

The correspondents talking about panic in the room, all the guests diving under their tables ... then I'm looking at the videos and everyone's just sitting calmly in their seats 😂 Even when security shouted 'Get down!' (after all of the top table had been evacuated) half didn't bother.

Sensible. Donald hasn't been shot, they haven't been shot, may as well nab the wine off one of the tables with people crammed underneath them.

Inmyuggs · Yesterday 04:07

Many say a put on act.
If only it would actually happen!
What is wrong with this workd we sit back and watch such a moron take charge.
He has ruined so much the freak.
