They are not a unified group. Never were. So we didn’t ’steal land’ from ‘them’.
In any case, conquering and taking land was perfectly fine by their standards and we had expected to live with them at first, which became impossible because they thought it was okay to take land and murder you. Because that is what they did to each other.

Sounds like present day America.

I am really shocked at the comments wishing death on somebody because of their political views. That is appalling. When I don’t agree with a politician I don’t wish them to be murdered. Have people in the UK forgotten David Amis and Jo Cox. If trump were to be assassinated it would be a disaster, the ramifications would be huge civil/global unrest, leading to god knows what. Biden was far worse and people didn’t call for him to be killed. People calling fro trumps death need to get a grip.

Comparing Jo Cox to Trump is…. well, wow. Disingenuous does not in fact cover it.

It’s not his political views, it’s his despicable actions that have resulted in inestimable damage to countless people, and in fact, world peace and stability.

And ‘Biden was not far worse,’ give over.

Well you certainly seem to wish for illegal aliens to stay in America. But in America’s case, there was nothing for our ancestors to ‘immigrate to’, all that had to be built and maintained by the European settlers and the American descendants of slaves (this particular identity, ADOS, is going to become increasingly important politically)

What is also darkly funny is that Cole Allen shared posts on Bluesky and seemed to think the previous assassination attempts were faked 😬

So the general feeling is that political killing is bad.

Most people who try to shoot someone dont like the person theyre shooting. Its also not surprising that alot of people who dont like trump, do compare him to the German Chancellor from the 1940's', with good reason. Not sure what point youre trying to make here. Whatever this 'perpetrators- reasoning it isnt appropriate or encouraged to shoot someone, but trump is a truly divisive, evil, narcissistic, psychopath who's MO is to divide and conquer so its hardly surprising.

As for the previous attempts there seems to be alot of inconsistencies out there to imply the Butler attempt was suspect. Not least that trump, renowned for his running mouth, has barely uttered a word about it or the perpetrator since.

Most now view trump as capable of anything, particularly since he is running scared of the epstein files and thus being held fully accountable for his behaviour, that if any, of the attempts were contrived by him few would be surprised.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Most countries want controlled immigration, what America is currently engaged in is not humane, constitutional or lawful because they are choosing their victims purely on thw persons colour and accent with no due process, but you know that.

Im quite sure that wherever you are if someone broke into your home, ripped you from your bed, placed you in a sub human detention centre for days or months with no access to a solicitor your family or to a legal process that would protect you, that you would have plenty to say about it when and if you were released .

If you are in a foreign country illegally, would this be entirely unsurprising to you?

Also, they can just give up their fake ass asylum claim and be flown to their home country in a matter of days, so actually they have plenty of agency here. Or they can just avoid all this trouble by going home before all that using the CBP app, with taxpayer money. Zero sympathy.

Take your own advice then head home back to the US of A. It doesnt matter that youre 'legal' wherever you are, by YOUR rules even legal migrants can be ripped from the country and deported so ...off you trot. Put your money where you mouth is and clear off back to the US.( Its obviously so great youve lived elsewhere for quite some time by the sound of it. )

Its god awful to say but

If i were the Democrats, i'd put a young ish man in the presidential race. A big chunk of America isn't ready for a female president, and the Democrats need to win.

Kamala wasn't going to be president sorry 😐

Maybe i'd have a female vp, someone from the South

Edited

I totally agree.

Putting up a mixed race woman was never going to work in such a sexist, racist country.

Given sexism is more universal than racism, and still more socially acceptable, I think it was the fact that she is a woman which hindered her most.

To do good you first need to be elected so whilst it is all very admirable demonstrating your equality in candidate selection , when it comes to President of the US it is an exercise in futility.

Better to win and then try to educate.
