Does anyone else find it a bit strange that they just disappeared off air and are still not back?
They say it’s due to budget cuts and stick on a load of game show repeats. It’s a P take, can’t believe we pay a tv licence for this

The the licence fee goes to the BBC but you are still required to pay it to watch ITV 😂

Well I heard it was Trump. Apparently he caught Melania watching a bootleg copy to improve her English and was horrified because he believed someone had leaked his What To Do With Pesky Wimmin plans for his third term of office, apparently the idea was to feed US women a diet of Loose Women, Desperate Housewives of New York and Meghan Markle programmes until their brains exploded with the input of such intellectual rigour, or was it melted with boredom, one or the other.

He wasn’t happy anyway so spoke to his very good and beautiful friend the King and had the series pulled.

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy, they just realised it was rubbish

It's on a commercial channel so you don't pay a license fee for it. Budget cuts mean that not enough people watch it so maybe they'll can it permanently?

Probably the reason why they've cut down the number of shows, too - I'm pretty sure that 98% of viewers were in the same age group as my mother and the remainder had just lost the remote control down the back of the sofa cushions.

Try watching ITV without a licence. You would still be fined the same amount if caught.

I quite enjoy Loose Women. I don’t get the hate. It’s a panel made up of every demographic of women - old, young, BAME, white, disabled. Experienced hacks like Jane Moore, Mariella Frostrop, Janet SP, Kaye Adams, Charlene White. Some frothy ones - Coleen, Denise, Nadia. Some younger influencer types that I don’t particularly like - Olivia Atward and GK Barry. They have got rid of some- no more Linda Robson thank God. I like the different perspectives. Sometimes it is shite or they resort to childish games when I swiftly turn off. Some of them repeat the same stories - Coleen and Denise - but as a bit of tv with my lunch, it’s ok. Rather watch that than the News or racing or shite quiz shows.

Since they moved to a new studio they no longer have an audience or guests - it’s better. No whooping by the former, no plugging by the latter.

I heard that it’s off air because Jane McDonald killed a kitten and trod on a (cute) puppy.

Yeah, I find it odd too. They did just vanish with no warning didn't they? Rumour has it that it's being cut to 30 weeks a year (as has been said,) but there was NOTHING about this before it vanished. I can't even remember when it was on last now. It's been off about a month and a half I think. The show went on hiatus for the Cheltenham Festival (March 10–13) but that finished, and Loose Women hasn't returned.

I do rather enjoy the lovely Vanessa Feltz on Ch5 though. Sometimes her daughter (Saskia Joss,) is on with her (as a panel guest.) She's a child therapist Some really interesting topics are discussed on their some days. Maybe give Vanessa a go if you've not already. The show is on around 2pm I think. I work part time, so it's on when I'm at work some days, but I record it and watch it later in the day... Or the next day.

It did seem to go downhill when they got rid of the audience. It was just odd then. No atmosphere. I wonder if someone at ITV was trying to get rid of it. It wouldn't surprise me if it never comes back.

It's definitely a conspiracy. That's really the only explanation for a tv show not being aired.
That and Aliens.
