Yes, we don’t know the full story, but so many things being said about the dance story being untrue-they had already had their dance, she’d also danced with her father, Vb was reportedly called onto the stage by her friend, Marc A and was shy to do so. She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. I can imagine she must be devastated and so humiliated by this. No matter the issues, Brooklyn shouldn’t have issued the problems publicly.
I know a lot about issues with Mil’s but my instinct tells me that this could be her and perhaps she has been difficult from the start. She doesn’t have a reputation for being a nice person at all, even before all this and it’s been said there may have been similar situations in the past with an ex of hers.
In comparison, I’ve never seen anyone say a bad word about Vb, the opposite in fact, she seems to have a great relationship with all her other children and the partners, plus a good relationship with Db’s family
She just must feel so devastated and humiliated, your first born that you held in your arms as a baby.

I think a lot of that is very very likely.

I suspect with romance goggles on that Brooklyn might not have been thrilled with pre-nup discussions coming from his parents’ side. I imagine that the Peltz family would have it well sewn up from their side though and so protecting his interests too would probably be a sensible idea. Given that the Beckham name is the asset on their side it’s probably more relevant.

I think you might be spot on at what’s at the heart of it. It feels like someone powerful not being to act as anticiapted.

Could NPB & BB not ‘brand’ freely away as they imagined using a name with such clout?

Do family Peltz see Brooklyn as a pawn re: global £ fame for Nicola, who has everything else? Of course the Beckhams will
have legally protected ‘name’ etc.

BB’s statement felt so very angry & unnecessarily personal in places yet all those close to him say he’s an easy going, placid soul.

It’s possible there’s genuine love there too ofc.

I’m starting to think it’s staged. Fat Tony commenting. Cruz liking. Nicola’s new TV show. The campaign to bring back Posh’s solo song from 25 years ago… Oh, look she can sing! And dance, hence the focus on her “inappropriate” wedding dance…

Could this be anything to do with her joining a Spice Girls tour? Could she bow out of the fashion industry before they lose any more money? Sell the business. Concentrate on her make-up brand. And, finally bring Harper in. None of this is coincidence!

Interesting to read the Vogue article mentioned earlier. If Vogue had an exclusive about the wedding, I am sure the family would have had copy approval. They would write what the Beckham / Peltz family wanted to out out there.

Newsflash. Many people don't go out with people of the same age. There is no rule that says you have to date someone who is your age.

People who are in relationships with people the same age do split up/divorce etc.

It looks innocuous & complimentary - it’s only the later context re: BB’s claims.

Most credible reports (including the DJ) said it was the first dance and Marc Antony asked for "the most beautiful woman in the room to come up.Mrs Victoria Beckham!" He was a total arse to say that at an other woman's wedding. But it was unthinkable that VB would get up or that DB would let her. Unbelievably bad behaviour and judgement.

Apparently all supposed to have been a bit of a joke set up by VB - it misfired.

It looks like Brooklyn adored his mum and in his immaturity he’s not able to work out how to adore both his wife and his mum so he’s very drastically pushed his mum away thinking this is a show of how much he adores Nicola. I feel for VB - all her insta comments I’ve seen have been telling both Brooklyn and Nicola how much she loves them (as well as her other children). I think VB desperately wants to be liked and would do anything to support her children (and to be seen to be supporting them too). I guess Brooklyn decided he didn’t want to be on her social media (or for her to comment on his) and maybe Victoria still wanted to include him because it would be odd to just stop mentioning one child. The only way to repair the relationship would have been talking to Brooklyn on his own rather than with Nicola who Brooklyn is desperate to put first at the expense for everyone else. But this has been taken as the Beckhams rejecting Nicola. This is my take on the situation anyway! I’m sure VB will forgive Brooklyn when/if he grows up.
