Yes, we don’t know the full story, but so many things being said about the dance story being untrue-they had already had their dance, she’d also danced with her father, Vb was reportedly called onto the stage by her friend, Marc A and was shy to do so. She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. I can imagine she must be devastated and so humiliated by this. No matter the issues, Brooklyn shouldn’t have issued the problems publicly.
I know a lot about issues with Mil’s but my instinct tells me that this could be her and perhaps she has been difficult from the start. She doesn’t have a reputation for being a nice person at all, even before all this and it’s been said there may have been similar situations in the past with an ex of hers.
In comparison, I’ve never seen anyone say a bad word about Vb, the opposite in fact, she seems to have a great relationship with all her other children and the partners, plus a good relationship with Db’s family
She just must feel so devastated and humiliated, your first born that you held in your arms as a baby.

Presumably it was to protect the name. If not trademarked anyone could have used it. She did this, I believe from googling, in 2016 so when they were still children. As a parent I would do anything to protect my children and if I was an influencer (which I'd hate to be btw!!), I'd do the same.

I read an article yesterday, Telegraph possibly, saying that it happens all the time, famous people trademark their children’s names, we just don’t hear about it. It’s to protect them financially.

Brooklyns trademark presumably got handed to him at 25 when, as an adult, he would be hopefully able to look after his own assets.

Mothers feel sentimental when their sons get married. Mothers let their hair down and do cringy dance moves at 11pm. Its been a long day and a stressful lead up to the event.
All a mother hopes for is a good partner for their son.

Some DILs are jealous of MILs and vice versa.

From experience, I have 3 DILs. 2 I get on amazingly with and 1 who causes trouble/drama at every turn...not just with me.

I have sympathy with VB, shes keeping a dignified silence which I admire. Such unkindness being directed at her, but people who actually know her will hopefully support her and keep her strong. Lets give it a year or 2 and see. Brooklyn appears to me to be immature and coerced.

I agree, I thought the wording BB used was horrible. Inappropriate and On Me, really inflammatory. I'd not only be mortified which you'd get over but I'd be angry about that bit, very unnecessary.

The evidence seems to point to NP reaching the end of her tether with VB so far, for me.

The leaked wedding texts don’t show NP in a favourable light at all even accounting for wedding stress. She’s incredibly rude even if the professionals were somewhat incompetent. They also show VB wanting quite a lot of control ‘do NOT let Victoria know’ etc.

IMO it’s all very ‘Daddy I want a performing squirrel’. Perhaps..’ ‘Brooklyn how DARE she & your family are inauthentic, my Dad would NEVER cheat (he adores Mum like you adore me) or do socials & he’d never bribe me or trademark my name’. Who knows (?)

I thought the Christmas family dancing video was a bit crass, showy, attention seeking. I certainly wouldn’t be parading a happy family while estranged from my DS, the choice of song too, can’t remember what it was now but it had a punch of passive aggressive in my opinion.

I agree with aposter above about the trend for estrangement but also when I read it on here, (dont hear much about this in real life) its done very much as a threat and implications that the other person is going to be the one that misses out.
