To feel very sorry for Vicky B

Yes, we don’t know the full story, but so many things being said about the dance story being untrue-they had already had their dance, she’d also danced with her father, Vb was reportedly called onto the stage by her friend, Marc A and was shy to do so. She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. I can imagine she must be devastated and so humiliated by this. No matter the issues, Brooklyn shouldn’t have issued the problems publicly.
I know a lot about issues with Mil’s but my instinct tells me that this could be her and perhaps she has been difficult from the start. She doesn’t have a reputation for being a nice person at all, even before all this and it’s been said there may have been similar situations in the past with an ex of hers.
In comparison, I’ve never seen anyone say a bad word about Vb, the opposite in fact, she seems to have a great relationship with all her other children and the partners, plus a good relationship with Db’s family
She just must feel so devastated and humiliated, your first born that you held in your arms as a baby.

All so sad

The baby she sold to the press at every opportunity. The child who was pulled out of school, for photo opportunities. It's the children I feel sorry for. Not the parents who only care about fame and £££

LowdermilkPark · 20/01/2026 11:38

I don’t feel remotely sorry for her.

Placetobreathe · 20/01/2026 11:40

Saw the thread title and had no idea who Vicky B was.
Having read the OP I'm assuming this is yet another thread about the Beckhams.

I'm totally in awe of how invested people are in this family.

Nevermind17 · 20/01/2026 11:41

If Marc Anthony called her onto the stage against her wishes, she could have said “Oh no, the first dance should be between the newlyweds” rather than humping her son in front of hundreds of people.

Coffeeishot · 20/01/2026 11:44

I think Brooklyn wanted to have his say good for him it sounds like the lad had enough of speculation and rumours. I do think this might be the jolt VB needed that it isn't all about her!

But there are reports of it not being the first dance, that they’d already had a dance and she’d danced with her dad? The way he’s described it is his opinion (or more likely hers) she could have been cuddling her son on his wedding day, all perfectly normal things. It’s truly horrible for a son to say that to the public about his own mother.
It’s unforgivable

Oh i am cringing thinking about inappropriate dancing ! I thought his instagram statement was just a page but i just kept swiping and it just got worse.

Absolutely nobody forced the Beckhams to parade their children in front of the press from the moment they were born, selling pictures of them to OK magazine and talking in great personal detail about them during all those media interviews. Nobody asked those kids if that was ok.

Brooklyn has had a shit deal, he can't try and do anything with his life without people calling him a nepo baby or laughing at how rubbish he is, like with his photography or cooking and all the rest of it.

Sounds like he finally told V&D he didn't want to be part of Brand Beckham anymore, they were furious and he finally decided to kick back. All a bit sad really but the only bit we know for sure is 100% true is that they should have given him a basic level of privacy in his childhood. They didn't.

YABU.

I wouldn’t say they did much of that at all though, compared to many other celeb families? Back in the day it was normal to do photoshoots etc and even then I don’t remember knowing everything about their kids

It is maybe true though he maybe thought she was being over the top and embarassed him,

I think it’s her behaviour that’s unforgivable. The best thing he could’ve done is cut her and David off.

OnlyMabelInTheBuilding · 20/01/2026 11:50

She’s sold her fake life for years. This is what happens when it’s not real. Eventually, someone squeaks.

Maybe, but do you publish that to the whole world and with the wording he did?

It’s completely unforgivable. I imagine his dad and the siblings are fuming too

But what about Harper? They would've been very aware of the damage social media had on their children by then.

Lottapianos · 20/01/2026 11:51

'She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her'

I agree - I feel sorry for her too and I think the endless nastiness about her facial expressions is appalling. Telling a woman what she should be doing with her own face in public is misogynist bullying

I'm not taking sides about the latest revelations because it's none of my business and I don't have all the details. What Brooklyn has shared does not show her in a good light AT ALL. Everything else I had heard about her was really positive - very professional and good to work with, pleasant, funny, hard working. It's a real mess and the vultures are having a field day

But we don’t know how much is true?? The reports even previous to all this have always been of his wife being an awful person. Who has ever said that about Vb

Those photos were awful, and the only reason he felt empowered to produce a book full of them is because he’s Brooklyn Beckham.

Any other child would be told to have a stern word with themselves, and either get some training or put the camera down and get a real job.

I’m sure the majority of celebrities and normal people in fact, sell a fake life in some ways on Sm etc, for your child to do this publicly is vile

Up until the recent documentaries, I hadn’t seen much about Harper at all, especially not when she was younger, the occasional family picture maybe, which is not shocking

I actually don't think he will care tbh, i think curating a brand that includes your children maybe without their consent will have consequences and i think Brooklyns statement is a consequence, of years of being paraded about and controlled.

tescofishcakes · 20/01/2026 11:56

Hahaha I don’t feel sorry for her one tiny iota. You reap what you sow. She has done nothing but parade those poor kids in the public eye since before they wore born - they never asked for that level of scrutiny and publicity. She is a total fame whore and I’m glad he’s finally broken free. Good on ya Brooklyn!

Moltenpink · 20/01/2026 11:56

YANBU. The part about the dogs was strange too- what was that all about? Sounds like wife to be wanted to use her name and she pushed back and said no.

Whosthetabbynow · 20/01/2026 11:58

Wasn’t it rumoured that at Brooklyn’s wedding there was a shout out to “the most beautiful woman in the room” and VB stood up

MyBrightPeer · 20/01/2026 11:58

VB is the most obvious archetypal Boy Mum ever. I can believe all of what Brooklyn has said.

I think he said they had shown up for their things and Nicola had maybe asked for help and yes maybe "influence" and VB said no.
