Why do men hate women so much?

I’m on the larger side, a size 18. Walking back from work with my headphones in and on my phone and a guy leans out of his car window (passenger side) in slow moving traffic, barks at me like a dog and calls me a fat bitch. Him and his mates in the car then crack up at it and find themselves absolutely hilarious as they’re crawling along next to me.

I know it’s silly to be so upset by it because it’s such a silly thing for them to do, but they took me by surprise and gave me a fright and I just don’t get it. Why are men like this?

And these female officers were equally capable of rape and murder like Wayne Couzens?

None of it makes sense really, men apparently hate woman because they want to provide for them but if women let men provide then they call woman them gold diggers.
Do they want to provide or do they want woman to pay for themselves?
They hate women because we don’t give up sex and they see themselves as entitled to have sex with any woman who should just let them and are angry we say no but then they want all women to be virgins who don’t have sex with anyone.

My husband is 75 (big age difference) and definitely uttered sexis and some misogynist remarks over these years.
When I became middle aged, I started calling him out on this.
He doesn't have an idea and says sorry - really.
Behaviour as the OP describes is on another level, though, largely unknown to me, so far.

I went out one night after having a nervous breakdown (my mates dragged me to the pub as if not left the house got months)

I got talking to a bloke and at the end of the night,he leaned in for a snog

He immediately cheered 'I win lads!' And then walked off

Turns out they'd been playing a game called 'pull a pig'

The idea being that you chat up and snog the ugliest female in a pub and then your mates have to buy you a pint or food

My mates ripped him apart but the damage was done-i didnt go back out for months afterwards

Looking back,I was so far out of his league and he wanted to shove me back in the box

I met someone who had slept with him at some point and said he had a tiny willy and was a nasty sod with a huge chip on his shoulder that women didn't fancy him

I think the word is 'incel'

Pathetic little man-I did nothing wrong and the jokes on him as I met dp a year later and he,being a true man,thinks I'm gorgeous

It just is what it is.

The stats speak for themselves. Men as a sex class pose a real danger for women as a sex class.

They want both.

They want to work, and for her to work so she doesn’t ‘take his money’, but for her also the play the dutiful housewife at home and treat him like the sole breadwinner. They may do the occasional grand gesture for which they expect high praise and gushing thanks (the odd ‘treat’), but they don’t want to do the day to day grind of housework, childcare etc

However, I'll need to disagree with you here: I know my DP, brother and 2 sons would never be like this. My sons are 21 & 19 & I've made sure they have respect for women & speak up again misogyny. #educateyoursons

Of course both men and women can be vile, but women don't tend to shout out horrible things to men in the street do they!

I was out with a group of girls mostnof whom I didn't know to well a LONG time ago. 25 years maybe? And a few of the girls admitted to having played 'pull a pig" themselves.
Honestly I admit lots of men are absolute arseholes but can we stop pretending that women aren't?

Not sure it’s even as deep as that. They hate us solely because we are the gatekeepers of the vagina, the thing they want and need the most, with little regard for the rest of the woman attached to it.

When they could take what they pleased with no consequences, enslave women through marriage/ownership/religious sanction, and do what they wanted (which still applies in many countries); when it was impossible for rape to legally occur within a marriage (almost worldwide until as late as the 1990s), there was less need for them to exorcise their rage through public insult and humiliation.

This behaviour has steadily gained traction over the decades during which women have gained agency and become more able to assert boundaries.

In the western world hurling abuse is the last refuge of the man who feels a submissive woman and sex on tap is nothing less than his birthright and entitlement. And most of them are too fucking stupid to even understand that that’s where all their bile comes from.

But they are outnumbered. Also they’d be ridiculed and other men might call them a simp.
Best to say nothing and go along with woman when they are with women and men when are with men.
That way the women will think ‘not all men’ and men will think they know what he really thinks and that he’s really one of them.
