correct me if I have missed anything here on this… but has the news gone quiet on the woman who was attacked unprovoked in Birmingham? Do we know who done it?!

So what do you want the PM to do about mentally ill people attacking people on the street?

@EvangelicalAboutButteredToast you need to calm down, I’m not sure why you’re going to the extreme lengths of defending this post and attempting to die on a hill which isn’t worth it but I feel you need an addressing.

With the Hutingdon stabbing threads speculating, wishing in fact that the attacker was an immigrant, this thread absolutely reeks of the same hope and speculation. So it’s no assumption per se it’s a very apt inference of the op’s intention. Op has rightly been called out.

The grooming gangs were sexual offences that weren’t charged with a racially aggravated element and rightly so. There wasn’t that legal hate crime component present there.

Two Sikh women were literally hunted down for their race and religion. Then raped. One outside on one her home. They were raped BECAUSE their rapists were motivated by hate towards their race and religion to rape them. I understand you and op don’t find this abhorrent enough to start threads on the reasons as to why however is one for you to explore yourselves.

Threads like op’s and the ones before started re the Huntington attack play into the reform and recent rise of white supremacy/far right narrative. They provide cover and take away attention from crimes that are being committed by far right thugs which are getting more and more nefarious. I would now even say they’re emboldening them.
