In the wake of the tragic events that took place in Manchester, I want to implore people not to lose steam or, more importantly, hope.

Gaza is still facing destruction, famine and genocide.

We need to continue to peacefully pressure our government to take action and sanction the Israeli government and to educate and inform people about the horrors faced by the Palestinian people day in and day out for the last two years.

People who opposed the liberation of Palestine want for this to be a turning point. For people to point the finger at a movement that wants to see the end of the suffering of millions and label it as inciting hate.

It's not.
And it's important.

Please don't put down your passion for Gaza.

Ah, again I'm struggling to see where I've said that. Shame you don't "play... game" as it would have been interesting to hear your POV.

I don't agree with burning any child alive, or raping women and filming it. It doesn't matter to me what their religion is.

Funnily enough the only children I've seen with my own eyes burned alive are Palestinian ones. I've seen the charred remains of a Palestinian child, still in her nappy, but missing her head, held by her father after she was murdered while sheltering in a safe zone that her family had evacuated to.
Shall we discuss Hind Rajab?

so you are blaming Jewish people for an attack on Jewish people - shameful but no great surprise. Why don't you address the elephant in the room which has been involved in over 80% of terrorist killings on the planet in the last 25 years. I will give you a clue - it isn't from Jews

There's no shame in condemning the actions of Israel.

Yikes. So we deserve it, just for being Jews?
While we’re on questions, since when is Netanyahu’s government perpetrating acts “in the names of Jews everywhere”? I rather suspect that’s your extrapolation.

There's no shame in condemning the actions of Israel.

Yet you conveniently don't condemn actions from other demographics who are a far bigger threat to women and children globally - you're a disingenuous hypocrite.

Algen · 04/10/2025 01:02

But Israel will have to take some responsibility for making extremists of people.

No. The people to blame for extremism are the extremists and anyone who groomed them.

Neighbours87 · 04/10/2025 01:02

Agree OP. The world is looking away as a genocide take place

These arse clowns pretending Israel fighting a war against terrorists who started the war during a ceasefire is a genocide are just that - pretending. They know full well that no Israeli soldier is dangerous to anybody who doesn't first rape and murder their civillians. They know full well that Israel has no choice but to continue fighting the war Hamas started, or Hamas will wipe them out.

And that's what they want.

They know full well that if Hamas - who waged a war against Israel during a cease fire - were disbanded (and as a terrorist organisation they must be) and released the hostages the war would end immediately.

They're just freaking out because Israel continues to win the war they did not start and did not want.

Everything else is just semantics.

God speed, Israel. The entire world is behind you - except for the anti semites and terrorist supporters who just won't shut up.

I can never stomach staying on any of these anti semitic threads filled with hatred and the hope for Jewish people to be slaughtered out of existence for very long.

But it is so important that we all speak up in solidarity with our Jewish friends and neighbours, all Jewish citizens in the UK who are the most law abiding, reasonable community imaginable.

No Israeli soldier wants you dead, no Israeli soldier will come near you unless you start a war with Israel first, no Jewish person is going to attack you or join in barely controlled rioting to demand support for those who want to wipe out an entire population.

As was recently said someone who goes by the handle Joosy Jew:

British Jews don’t strap bombs to ourselves and blow up kids at concerts.
British Jews don’t drive cars into civilians or police before getting out to stab them.
British Jews don’t blow ourselves up on the London Underground.
British Jews don’t detonate ourselves on Central London buses.
British Jews don’t strap knives to our wrists and rampage through London’s markets massacring revellers.
British Jews don’t hack British soldiers head’s off on our streets.
British Jews don’t drive Jeeps loaded with propane canisters into Glasgow Airport.
British Jews don’t stab people at Victoria station while shouting Jewish slogans.
British Jews don’t stab multiple people in Forbury Gardens while shouting “God is Great”
British Jews don’t stab MPs during constituency surgeries.
British Jews don’t detonate homemade bombs in taxis near Women’s Hospitals.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland stand with the Jewish community. Terrorists and their supporters do not speak for the UK.

Now that I have made that clear, I will go and look at less disturbing, hate filled anti semitic threads.

No Israel is not committing genocide according to a strict legal interpretation under the 1948 UN Genocide Convention, which requires proof of specific intent to destroy, in whole a national, ethnic, racial group. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has not issued a final ruling on South Africa's genocide case against Israel - it clearly isn't genocide as Israel could kill everyone there overnight if it chose to

Why are you misstating the 1984 Un Genocide Convention?

”acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or IN PART, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group"

Why would you try to mislead in that way?

Do you think save the children is an anti semitic terrorist supporter?

Actually, you are not thinking all that much at all, are you? You have put a lot of heavy words in your post but none of them follow logically anything I have said.

What you are doing though, knowingly or not, is linking the atrocities committed against children in Gaza to Jewish people. And you are saying that empathy for the suffering of these children is anti semitic? Why would it be? Why are you doing that? I don't think you are speaking for Jewish people. You really shouldn't because you sound devoid of any humanity. I don't know or maybe you are just very upset. In that case I am sorry I have upset you more.

oh ok. Do you need me to quote it back to you?

“Israel will have to take some responsibility for making extremists of people. Hatred being turned on Jewish people is a direct response to the heinous acts being perpetrated in the names of Jews everywhere.
It's wrong. And it's awful to see. But this isn't the fault of protesters. It's the fault of an evil government.”

i get you now. You’re saying it’s a legitimate but undeserved reaction. In other words, Sorry Jews. But hatred is what you get for being Jews because of Israel.
That’s quite some tightrope you’re walking there.

There should be no hatred turned to Jewish people. It isn't their fault a regime in Israel has committed genocide - it is the actions of a few that have consequences for many. Those not in charge of decision making (on either side) should not be blamed for the actions of lunatics.

The same way it's not okay to hate all Muslims for the regime in Afghanistan .

MaudlinGazebo · 04/10/2025 01:06

People who hate Jews = terrible, awfully sad but the fault of other Jews really, dreadful to see but only themselves to blame

People who “hate” Muslims = dreadful bigots

Have I got that right @Icreatedausernameyippee?

Or alternately, if it’s the fault of Israel that people hate Jews, which Muslim Government should take the blame if people hate Muslims?

This isn't "bigotry" it's facts. No other religion hides behind " bigotry" or "Phobic" as Islam does. When was the last time you heard the phrase " hinduphobic" or "Christianphobic". The people supporting this kind of ideology are bigots and you're an anti semitic racist as Jewish people are defined by ethnicity also. Should a gay person fear being imprisoned or hanged, should women always obey their husbands as 33% of muslim Brits think?

They are not peaceful though and are against the safety and well being of others in this country.
