In the wake of the tragic events that took place in Manchester, I want to implore people not to lose steam or, more importantly, hope.

Gaza is still facing destruction, famine and genocide.

We need to continue to peacefully pressure our government to take action and sanction the Israeli government and to educate and inform people about the horrors faced by the Palestinian people day in and day out for the last two years.

People who opposed the liberation of Palestine want for this to be a turning point. For people to point the finger at a movement that wants to see the end of the suffering of millions and label it as inciting hate.

It's not.
And it's important.

Please don't put down your passion for Gaza.

You can recognise the loss of life on that date and also the loss of life every day before and since.

Why can’t this be seen, race or religion removed, as the humanitarian crisis it is? If you reframe this as WW2 (the last major loss of life many of us can relate to), the ‘what-aboutery’ would be seen as horrific.
Religion, rights, wrongs, race, individual fucking nutters, etc needs to be pushed aside and this needs to stop. How many more lives can this be allowed to claim?

The Jewish people of the world and the state of Israel are not one in the same. There are Jews a plenty who don't claim Israel.
Protesting the actions of a government committing atrocities is not the same as protesting Jewish people.

No I will not. Zionism means an Israel home for their women and children not an evil word to be condemned. Palestine is a state run by a terrorist organisation and most people on here wouldn't last 5 minutes in a place like Palestine with the human rights record there regardless of any war. Jewish people are quiet friendly people who integrate in western countries as are supposed " zionists" who simply want to live in a tiny country which is smaller than Wales. Look at Israel on a map - a tiny country where the people there wish to live in peace without their women and children butchered at a music festival.

The people of Palestine weren't and aren't just Muslim.
There have always been Christian and Jewish Palestinians.

You’re right, I personally wouldn’t.
However, I know Palestinians lives have been deemed as cheap but what is the ratio you find acceptable? How can anybody turn up to a 7th October rally knowing the sheer volume of children that have been murdered in to avenge the atrocity?
I don’t know the answers and I continue to despair for Muslims, Jews, Palestinians, Israelis and everyone else affected.

It isn't genocide, Israel could wipe every living creature off the face of the Gaza strip if it chose to. A genocide is trying to kill every living thing, not attempting to target Hamas -a terrorist organisation who hides behind children's hospitals and schools. If Palestine had the weapons Israel had, Israel wouldn't exist at all. Israel is a nuclear power that could blow Palestine off the face of the Earth so no it isn't a "genocide"
