In the wake of the tragic events that took place in Manchester, I want to implore people not to lose steam or, more importantly, hope.

Gaza is still facing destruction, famine and genocide.

We need to continue to peacefully pressure our government to take action and sanction the Israeli government and to educate and inform people about the horrors faced by the Palestinian people day in and day out for the last two years.

People who opposed the liberation of Palestine want for this to be a turning point. For people to point the finger at a movement that wants to see the end of the suffering of millions and label it as inciting hate.

It's not.
And it's important.

Please don't put down your passion for Gaza.

"Death to the IDF" is death to the military - the institution. It's not calling for the literal death of any individual.
No one reasonable is celebrating murder.

This is beyond bonkers. So people are shouting for death to the IDF but all along they’re just thinking quietly to themselves “woo, defund the Israeli military”. And if that’s what they’re really thinking why is that not their catchy cry?
Words matter. They really do. You must know that. So why are you condoning being so careless with words when they stir up violence and hate?
Of all toxic mixes now is the time to be ultra careful with words. This hysterical rhetoric is not helping.
(and just out of curiosity what do you think would happen to a state full of Israelis if it had no army? Or does the thinking not go that far?)

So you'd agree that the march for the friends of Israel shouldn't go ahead out of respect for the 20 killed by Israel this morning, yes?
That's the way it works, right?
Someone gets killed, the opposite side halts their activities?
Because there are Palestinian people living in the UK. What if Omar, living in Manchester, has just got news that his uncle was killer this morning? Is it right that a pro-israel march takes place a few days later?

Excellent point

Agreed. It is very frightening. I know many Jewish people are thinking about leaving the UK as it just is no longer safe for them here. Islamists (and their useful idiots like the ones on this thread) have been allowed to terrorise them. Seeing marches calling for death to Jews and the eradication of Israel every weekend must surely make you feel like history is repeating itself. This should be a safe place for Jews - we fought WW2 to make it safe. Now look what we've done.

And the stupidest thing is that these "pro-Palestine" idiots would be among the first to be strung up if Hamas were to get their way. Do you think Gazan men would let women go out and protest in the streets? You'd be raped and killed. No tolerance of homosexuality, no rights for women, pure repression and barbarism all the way. That's what they're marching for, and they don't even know it.

I don’t think the IDF discriminate against gay people and straight people either, they bomb and torture them without discrimination. I’m sure even gay Palestinians are against the actions of Israel. Shameful to virtue-signal.

HaimishaPickle · 04/10/2025 16:09

There's filmed evidence from organisations like Peace Comms of Hamas stealing convoys of aid trucks (although they're on Instagram so I understand some people would prefer not to look on SM) but it appears that if the information comes from Gazans in Gaza some people don't consider them as plausible narrators as Phoenix from NYU or Janet from Surrey.

Yes you can find many articles but that is still not independent source. Look; I would surprised if there wasn’t some looting going on, but the main issue and I think that is made clear by all aid organisations wanting to go into Gaza is that Israel blocks aid and when the aid does come in it’s not safe for people to collect it and not safe for aid workers. I wonder why Israel won’t let journalists in, don’t you?

Nestingbirds · 04/10/2025 16:15

Innocent British people have died, targeted by racial hatred. No this is not the moment to go on a protest supporting Hamas and the death cult. Show some god damn respect.

israelis without a military… oh you mean like the Palestinians? No wonder some of them support Hamas if that’s the only group close to a military that they think they can rely on. It’s not like other countries are helping much 🤔 strange how it only makes sense when we’re talking about non-Palestinians lives!

Innocent British people have died at the hands of Israel. James Kirby, 47, from Street in Somerset, James Henderson, 33, from Falmouth in Cornwall and John Chapman, 57, from Poole in Dorset, died on 1 April.

One of those poor victims was shot by the British police, which is also shameful.

An imam was stabbed not long ago in London. Did the Israeli protests stop? Did anyone even ask for them to stop? Did anyone even know the imam was stabbed in the first place?!

Not to forget the wonderfully brave Tom Hurndall. Rachel Corrie was an American victim of Israel. Not the first or last.

Hilarious and she told someone else to educate themselves.

Not this again. No one can explain to me what I supposedly said which was supportive of terrorism, but the gas lightening continues.

BOLD LIE.
Children playing on beaches have been shot and years prior killed prior to October 7th.

Women and children have been shot on their way to collect aid since.

British doctors have spoken out about how teenage boys in Palestine have been shot in the testicles like a sick target practice.

Yes but don’t let’s forget a British doctor who’s son killed Jewish people two days ago also is a Hamas supporter, so calling a British doctor as being a bastion of truth doesn’t really cut it any more.

The British police did not deliberately shoot that poor man. I hope you are not suggesting otherwise. That is what “shameful” would suggest.
Brave, armed officers arrived very rapidly to protect the congregation from a mad man.
He was shot erroneously as he bravely tried to bar entry to the murderer. Presumably not visible to the officers behind the door. There will be a thorough investigation.

Let them carry on talking to themselves.

When Israel’s actions begin to affect everyone’s safety in the UK and they have to think about their families in the same way Palestinians have to think about their own, maybe then the light will switch back on in their heads.

The results of Israel’s genocide will spread, sadly, as history has shown us. Their poison will spread and affect us all 💔

Sorry, what? An Israeli carried out a racist terror attack in Britain and killed British people peacefully praying in a church? When did this happen?

Oh wait, no. It didn't happen. It's just you trying desperately to defend a racist terrorist murder rampage by someone whose cause you have inexplicably adopted.

so please stop with the lazy parroting that Palestinians are all passive victims of their terrorist government. they’re willing participants in it.

Where's your proof because your post suggests all Palestinians are complicit
I might aswell throw out a lie of my own that all Israelis are complicit

You see as soon as people post lies like that they lose all credibility

You know nothing about the lives or feelings of all Palestinians…absolutely nothing!!
So let’s stop casting blame around so freely and willingly

So it’s only terrorist when an Israeli causes terror in England? As long as it’s only Palestinian churches being bombed, it’s ok?

No, I didn’t mean like the Palestinians. I asked the question about Israel. I get the sense from your previous comments that you aren’t super familiar with the region. So either you don’t know the answer; or you do and don’t want to go there. But in any event the tone of your answer sort of makes me despair.
