In the wake of the tragic events that took place in Manchester, I want to implore people not to lose steam or, more importantly, hope.

Gaza is still facing destruction, famine and genocide.

We need to continue to peacefully pressure our government to take action and sanction the Israeli government and to educate and inform people about the horrors faced by the Palestinian people day in and day out for the last two years.

People who opposed the liberation of Palestine want for this to be a turning point. For people to point the finger at a movement that wants to see the end of the suffering of millions and label it as inciting hate.

It's not.
And it's important.

Please don't put down your passion for Gaza.

Have you actually been to one? I was walking past one a few months back and it’s bloody intimidating. It wouldn’t be safe to walk nearby as an obvious Jew.

Some protesters are protesting against the war on Palestine. Many are protesting against Israel existing and Jews in general. To deny that would be an outright lie.

if we are generalising based on people’s actions, there is clear cut evidence (even on video) of the IDF sexually abusing, raping, physically assaulting and even killing innocent civilians in Gaza. Not to mention the endless videos of them parading around in Palestinian’s women’s lingerie and using blown up houses as part of the “marriage proposal videos”. If it’s about the actions of groups, then the IDF is no better - if not even worse - than Hamas itself. You cannot condemn Hamas without condemning the IDF.

Both Israel and Palestine has carried out barbarian acts.
It's the innocent people on both sides who are affected.
War is raging in Sadan, Haiti, Congo and many other places, savage killings, starvation.
It feels a bit hypocritical to me that these atrocious acts aren't getting much support.
I think we're all a short step towards a war, if not a civil war, the social division is at an all time high, so much hate raging towards different communities.

Good god this situation is so polarised. Why can't both sides accept that both sides have done terrible things? I'm amazed that there are people who can't seem to see that at all. They have 101 arguments as to why the terrible things their side have done are ok or excusable.

To the person who said the IDF does not attack civilian children (as if civilian adults are fair game lol), there is video proof of them ARRESTING children and most recently one of two children under 10 (One looked like a toddler) who were being held by the IDF who were wielding actual guns in the faces of those terrified children.

I have empathy and am concerned about the genocide happening in Gaza.

I’ve seen far far too many protesters, some of whom I know (and see their unabashed antisemitism worn proud in public) personally and honestly, why this situation and not the many many other conflicts around the world? Why aren’t they out protesting about that? Because they hate jews, that’s the simple inconvenient answer.
