I love seeing people’s usernames so was just curious really.

I’ve had loads of changes in my time here and just come back after a long time off. Some of mine have been LOTR (my favourite film) related, some random, others more personal. I usually pick something really quickly when I change it and change every few threads or so.

I remember some posters who never seemed to change, so you always knew who they were but I haven’t seen them post since I’ve been back.

I've got a Bengal and noticed a few people on a FB cat group referring to them as 'Bangles'.

Dangermoo · 23/08/2025 15:35

A play on one of my childhood memories "Dangermouse"

mumofoneAloneandwell · 23/08/2025 15:35

Quite a literal one for me

Jerseycreamtea · 23/08/2025 15:36

one of my fave places and a fave thing to have there!

callfromthemountain · 23/08/2025 15:36

I name change regularly and it's currently to the last thing I did

PenCreed · 23/08/2025 15:36

Georgette Heyer character that I like and wasn’t already taken!

HangryBrickShark · 23/08/2025 15:37

Because it was suggested by MN when about ten of the names I tried were rejected. Nothing very exciting, never swum with hungry sharks or tried to find them off with bricks either! 😅😅

RustyBear · 23/08/2025 15:37

Rusty is a little knitted bear, about 3 inches high, made by my mum for me to take in my pocket on my first day at school. Originally he was a deep rusty-red colour, but he got washed in my pocket so often, he faded to pinky brown. He got attacked by moths and the darker brown patches cover the holes. He's now 64 years old and lives in retirement in a rocking chair on my bedside table.

LandSharksAnonymous · 23/08/2025 15:38

I raise baby landsharks.

And, other than dog related things, I tend to be very tight lipped about my life so 'Anonymous'

AelinoftheWildfire · 23/08/2025 15:39

I have unhealthy obsessions with book characters

I have no idea how the picture of my garden got included 😁

Ddakji · 23/08/2025 15:39

It’s one of the games in Squid Game, the envelope game at the start. When I set up this account I think I was watching it.

Have had a couple of different accounts before, one was also LOTR inspired!

CharlotteRumpling · 23/08/2025 15:39

I would like to look like my namesake but end up looking like a rumpled pile of laundry.

Idontknowhatnametochoose · 23/08/2025 15:40

I couldn't think of anything

I see his years of going to school with you weren't wasted as he is obviously a keen reader in his retirement!

MeringueOutang · 23/08/2025 15:41

When I was a child I used to think orangutans were called meringue-outangs, not helped by King Louie's song in The Jungle Book where it sounds like he sings "I wanna be a man man man meringue meringue outang outang..."

Ekkekkkeekkkekk · 23/08/2025 15:41

I love cats.

I love the ekkekkkeekkkekk they do when they see prey.

There is an account on instagram dedicated to it.

PocketSand · 23/08/2025 15:41

Homage to Dale Gribble.

ProfessorInkling · 23/08/2025 15:44

I watched a lot of Octonauts when the kids were little.

KimTheresPeopleThatAreDying · 23/08/2025 15:44

I was watching Mad Men when I chose this name and this was from an advert from my childhood

This is what I mean, you see one like yours and you have to wonder how it came about! 😂

What I was doing at the same time so first thing I saw🤓

Oscarwinningtears · 23/08/2025 15:51

I change frequently, sometimes music/film/tv references, sometimes sayings I like or quotes from books. This one is a Raye song as I'm currently slightly obsessed with her!
