To ask why you chose your username?

I love seeing people’s usernames so was just curious really.

I’ve had loads of changes in my time here and just come back after a long time off. Some of mine have been LOTR (my favourite film) related, some random, others more personal. I usually pick something really quickly when I change it and change every few threads or so.

I remember some posters who never seemed to change, so you always knew who they were but I haven’t seen them post since I’ve been back.

Because friends and family call me Pam (Gavin & Stacey)

When I say to them, oh I was reading this thread on mumsnet and then they say... oh the drama..... and laugh.

Not a outing post as they know my name on here... even though I don't know there's 😕

Well, I love Gerard Way (My chemical Romance).

It references a really funny thread on here a few years ago when the OP was asking if she was being U to not get a secret santa because she was late to the gifting meeting - but it got autocorrected to something like 'AIBU to be upset I didn't get my present because I was late to the fisting?' cue some witty comments which, as I was havng a bad day that day, really cheered me up.

thought it might be a good one tostop DM quoting anything I say, for reasons of public decency.

Although I had the temerity to disagree with someone on the FWR forum a month or two ago and she told me off, saying because I have a 'porny nickname' I was clearly a man, and thus my opinion was irrelevant and I should go away
