To ask why you chose your username?

I love seeing people’s usernames so was just curious really.

I’ve had loads of changes in my time here and just come back after a long time off. Some of mine have been LOTR (my favourite film) related, some random, others more personal. I usually pick something really quickly when I change it and change every few threads or so.

I remember some posters who never seemed to change, so you always knew who they were but I haven’t seen them post since I’ve been back.

My son started singing ithe wrong words to Sosban Fach after the school Eisteddfod a couple of years ago.

From a TS Eliot poem. I think it’s the Love Song of Alfred J Prufrock. Or possibly The Waste Land.

Its a nickname my ex gave me, though he only ever used it when talking about me to his family, but for some reason I liked it and have used it as my online name for years.

Pretty self explanatory really. I'm having blond, tropical and senior moments all in random sequences

My username is linked to where I live and locals call a girl 'maid' as in 'alreet maid?'.
This is a way of asking a female if she is ok/well. Hope that makes sense 😆

I was on Bounty decades ago and my name changed, for reasons I can’t even remember to ‘Gordon Ramsey’s holy love sheep’ then here I was Gordys love sheep for years and one Halloween changed it - and it stayed because I couldn’t be bothered to change it

I wanted to use a name I didn't use anywhere else, I suppose it came to me as I'm a 90s indie kid. I was kind of surprised it wasn't taken on a site as large as MN.

Mine is a nod to my adopted home and reflects my opinion of the utter marvel that is the butter pie. And I had one today at Preston v Ipswich and can confirm they ARE still great. (I’d have had a SpudBros but the queue was insane).
