To ask why you chose your username?

I love seeing people’s usernames so was just curious really.

I’ve had loads of changes in my time here and just come back after a long time off. Some of mine have been LOTR (my favourite film) related, some random, others more personal. I usually pick something really quickly when I change it and change every few threads or so.

I remember some posters who never seemed to change, so you always knew who they were but I haven’t seen them post since I’ve been back.

I have a chronic condition which causes exhaustion. But I change names a lot. Usually cat-related. Or food. So cats, tiredness and food. Tbh that sums up my life!

It’s mad really, just a little bit of individuality in amongst the anonymity.

A Japanese word that I love - first heard of it when I used to do karate back in the day (it was a name of one of the katas). I believe it is also a Japanese play and a type of maple. The translation is "breeze/wind through the pine trees".

Pretty self explanatory, imo, and unlikely to change 🤣

I was on The Chase many, many years ago and had a question about Sosban Fach in my head-to-head round (about what sosban is in English). I got it right but the chaser (Mark) didn’t. It had been a bit of a guess from me though since I’m Scottish and don’t really know any Welsh but I just went for what seemed the closest to it. 🙈

I'd just eaten scrambled eggs at the time and picked a random number.

Mine is obvious. I m always late for everything. I blame my cats. Always about to leave the house and get pounced on by 2 furry monsters for more food or cuddles.

Or I m trying to worm my way down the stairs and not stand on them.

I usually get there on time but it's a close call.

A sarcastic teacher used to call me Little Miss Late 1980 when I was a kid being late for school so I ve always been a bit dreamy and scatty.
