Posting here because of the previous thread about thong bikinis. Now let me point out that in NO time in my life have I had the figure to wear a thong bikini. I have nothing against them but I do wonder what the appeal is. If you are proud of your body and want to show off as much of it as possible, I get that. I can also understand wearing thong knickers for the no line look. But why wear a thong bikini? Is it cooler (as in temperature)? If it more comfortable than a normal bikini? Is it easier to swim in? You want your fanny tanned? I am asking a sincere question.

How so?

Sorry. I missed your comment. I didn’t have my glasses on and was watching tv. I’ll ask MN to delete my reply.

Sorry again

Better tan I’d assume.

HTH 😀

Have you never in your life wore a thong before?

I haven’t. Why, has everyone else?

Icanttakethisanymore · 09/07/2025 22:37

Personally I couldn’t care less is someone is wearing a thong or a hijab; each to their own. Swimming costumes or bikinis don’t exactly leave much to the imagination anyway, a bit more arse cheek is neither here-nor-there to me. I’d personally not wear a thong because I think small bikini bottoms are more flattering and do the same job.

I’ve regularly sunbathed topless in Europe and it’s a total non-issue. No one cares. I’ve not done it in the uk because it’s so unusual that I’d feel like everyone would be looking and I’m not trying to be a spectacle. I do love having tanned boobs though.

I’m sure lesbians would disagree.

'Do you want your fanny tanned'

are you considering wearing one back to front?

Fanny is your bottom in America.

Just saying....

I was going to add lesbians, but even if it might get the attention of lesbians, I don't think it's been worn to get the attention of lesbians 😜

It's just fashion. In two years they'll be wearing something else.

Well I wore a thong bikini or 7 back in 2001 so not really something that goes out of fashion. I had a body to die for as a young one of 20ish. I also had a brain like a fart cos I was in Egypt wearing them but still did it.

Petitchat · 09/07/2025 22:52

When people wear a thong on holiday to get their bum tanned, who is it for?

Who sees it when you get home, go to work, school run etc?

You can't even see it yourself 🤣

DiscoBob · 09/07/2025 22:54

It's certainly not comfortable. I see it like sexually , like part of sexy dressing up between people in private. I guess also on the beach for tanning purposes.
But you're not wrong in struggling to see the appeal.

Hi. I’ve lived through a lot. In many ways. Thongs would not be on my list of ways to demonstrate I’m ‘living’

No. It’s where your shit comes from and no one needs to see that

VictoriaEra2 · 09/07/2025 22:55

Wow. I’m genuinely surprised. I don’t wear them exclusively but I’ve worn them
a lot because it’s often just easier in terms of not needing to worry about a VPL.

Why not? Some lesbians like arses. Not everything women do is for the attention of men 😁

I think arses must have seriously evolved over the last 30 years.

You should try it. One might say a thong might release the stick up one’s arse.
