I'm 68 (quite young looking for my age ...but still). Sitting the other night with my cat on my lap, merrily chattering away to him with my PJ's on and melted chocolate down my front. Yep, it's finally come to this.

It happened to me, too, OP. If you'd asked me in the late 90s after a mortifying childhood of my mum wearing stretched-see-through leopard print leggings well past their use-by date, I'd have sworn up and down that I'd never wear leggings. But OMG they're so handy and this past year I've gone overboard with them. The recent heat has actually weaned me off them a bit and now I'm in shorts instead so there's that.

Arrrgh and now I've quoted the OP. Sorry. 🤦‍♀️

I wore lagging’s and baggy tops for about 3 years because I was so fat( size 22 ) . My doctor put me on mounjaro last November for type 2 diabetes. By April I had lost nearly 3 stone so all my winter stuff went in the bin and I started replenishing my summer wardrobe. I have no intention of wearing leggings ever again , but will have to buy a new winter wardrobe by October. I’m 72 and for the first time for several years I am enjoying clothes .

I started wearing leggings all the time aged around 41. I used to have a pair of fluffy on the inside cross but I had to chuck them cos they smelled sooo bad

Crocs are cool though.
Leggings are ok if they are the Sweaty Betty/Lululemon exercise type, but not if they're the stretchy jersey type worn with tunics, or even worse instead of tights with dresses.

But they are so bloody comfy .

I'm sure they are, which is why I refuse to wear them. I just know I'd like them too much and wear them everywhere!

Haha! Yes maybe I was against them because I too was that 90’s child dressed in leggings…… and I had a shell suit 🤪 and my mum had these ski pants leggings 🤦🏻‍♀️ but my lord are leggings handy and comfy ❤️🤣

I love crocs and I’m not ashamed.

However I’ve asked DH several times during this weekend who the fuck owns the red car that has been parked outside our house for about 3 weeks … I’m 57, why do I care🤦‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️. There’s plenty of room on our drive and the rest of the street.

In my leggings and short nightie , Sans brassiere, watching Rodney at Glasto😁. I can't remember it even happening , it just crept up on me and suddenly here we are! .
