I’ll go first

the bloody slimy painter and decorator who thought he could quote for some work then started sending me dodgy texts . I know he’s either married or with someone. What an absolute scumbag . I’ve blocked him now and will be getting someone else to do the work .

Just trump

Speckson · 27/03/2025 20:33

The government.

Hollowvoice · 27/03/2025 20:34

Work issues. We're supposed to have delegated responsibility but 2 things in the last couple of days have been dictated to us.

The customer who had a go at me today for something totally out of my control 😏

Iknowaboutpopular · 27/03/2025 20:37

The fucking bastard in a truck whose lane discipline was so atrocious he just about bullied me out of my lane going round a roundabout and nearly caused an accident. Yeah, him. The fucker.

Apillthatmakesyousayalltherightstuff · 27/03/2025 20:38

The letter from B*rclays business banking addressed to 'The Directors' which started 'Dear Sirs'.

VeterinaryCareAssistant · 27/03/2025 20:39

Coming in with a bag of shopping and being unable to put it away because my hoarder partner has filled up the cupboard with flour.

Sampler · 27/03/2025 20:40

Trump and Rachel Reeves predominantly.

TheDandyLion · 27/03/2025 20:41

Idiot neighbour whinging about parking of course.

ChaToilLeam · 27/03/2025 20:42

I bought a sofa in January and they called me again this week to say it was delayed until the end of May.

Lovelycupofcoffee · 27/03/2025 20:45

@Maitri108 DFS ?

My train was 10 minutes late which meant I missed my connection to London. Next train gets in 2 hours later, and because of buying tickets in a slightly roundabout way, can't claim delay repay so have to buy a new ticket.

Showerflowers · 27/03/2025 20:46

Having to travel by bus today and no one offered me a seat even though I’m obviously disabled (walking sticks and a very visible tremor). I actually asked if anyone could spare their seat, silence. So I had to ask the driver to let me back off. I actually sat and cried a little in the bus stop afterwards. People’s attitudes to disabled people has really deteriorated lately with the government insinuating we are all on the scam for benefits and don’t work. It’s upset me more than it usually would this week for obvious reasons.

NicolaCasanova · 27/03/2025 20:46

Never any peace and quiet at work which makes everyone tired and irritable

2chocolateoranges · 27/03/2025 20:47

Work, lazy shits who think they can do half the work of others who all get paid the same as them! So annoying!

Maitri108 · 27/03/2025 20:47

Lovelycupofcoffee · 27/03/2025 20:45

Ugh, I'm so sorry you experienced that💐

Doggymummar · 27/03/2025 20:49

I've had to rearrange a royal mail collection three times, they are lying saying noone was in when they called. They haven't called. We are housebound pretty much so have been in since last Sunday I'm getting hassled by my eBay buyer as I am supposed to despatch within three days. They don't message till after the post office is shut so I can't do anything about it.

BorgQueen · 27/03/2025 21:05

3 very near misses in the car this week.

  1. Waiting at crossroads, lights go green and I start to go forwards to turn right , car beside me turning left , nutter in a fiat 500 comes flying across on the red light, misses me by inches and went on the wrong side of the road to miss the car turning beside me - a few seconds either way and there would have been a multi car pile up as there was also a car facing me but a few yards back, intending to go straight on. I tried to report the driver as I have the dashcam footage but there is no actual way of doing it online unless there has been an accident.
  2. Driving behind DH this morning ( going to drop off my car for MOT) idiot in a huge SUV decided he didn’t like me doing just the speed limit and tailgated me then swerved in between me and DH then slammed his brakes on. He was then in the wrong lane at the roundabout and nearly hit a bus when he suddenly went across all 3 lanes.
  3. Coming back from getting my car at 3pm, Was almost wiped out by a black audi overtaking a line of stationary traffic coming right towards me , doing at least 70 in a 30. I managed to get over just in time, luckily the lane beside me had a gap - I don’t know how he didn’t take my wing mirror off . DH was 4 cars behind me and thought I was going to be hit head on.
I fucking hate driving.
Pigeonqueen · 27/03/2025 21:21

People who keep posting yet another thread about adolescence on Mumsnet without checking the 383747474 existing ones and replying on one of those. 🤦🏼‍♀️😣 My whole active feed is FULL of it and it’s giving me the rage.

CorbyTrouserPress · 27/03/2025 21:25

I’m also pissed off that my DH went to Morrisons and forgot to buy the dolly mixtures I’ve been craving all day even though it was the last thing I said to him before he left and I rang him while he was there.

I’m going to LTB

couchparsnip · 27/03/2025 21:36

Bloody cinch. I ordered a car online to be delivered yesterday but I checked the MOT status on the morning and it was showing as having 2 months left. Their promise is that they always have 6 months MOT left - so I queried it. They obviously forgot. They are now going to MOT it 'as soon as possible' and give me a revised delivery date.
So I didn't get my car, had to reinsure my old car and I have to take another day off work. Grrr.
