I’ll go first

the bloody slimy painter and decorator who thought he could quote for some work then started sending me dodgy texts . I know he’s either married or with someone. What an absolute scumbag . I’ve blocked him now and will be getting someone else to do the work .

My course pals (we’re all mature students and it’s a career focused degree) who never bother to go to uni, saying they don’t understand anything and not pulling their weight in a group project.
What are you wasting your money for and why did you bother applying for the course?

No, the people sitting down may have hidden disabilities. That's why the driver can't turf them out.

An ENTIRE bus full of people with hidden disabilities?

ALL of whom less able to stand than a woman who uses walking sticks and is very obviously disabled?

And no one is suggesting 'turfing out'. "Please can one of you give up their seat for this lady who is unable to stand" would probably have worked.

TryingToRecover · 28/03/2025 19:09

Having C.diff
Thankfully, on the mend now.

WhyamIanexhaustedEllie · 28/03/2025 19:16

What HASN’T annoyed me this week is a more accurate question

Who is talking about an entire bus? I'm talking about the seats 'reserved' for people with disabilities. People with hidden disabilities could be sitting in the seats.

A bus driver in London won't vacate their seat to start asking, in a genteel fashion, for people to vacate their seats. It's not the driver's job and there's a safety aspect.

I have no idea about the rest of the UK, but as far as I'm aware, they don't get involved.

I’ve lost a pair of shoes. They aren’t in the wardrobe. They aren’t in my work locker. They aren’t in the hall cupboard. They aren’t in the car. They aren’t on my feet.
WHERE ARE MY SHOES?!

WeMeetInFairIthilien · 28/03/2025 19:29

The little shits I work with, stealing the projector remotes from other classrooms, and then using them to freeze my projector, or turn it off.

And, then stealing a timer from my room, and setting it off in another room, when all the students were working.

PollyCreo · 28/03/2025 19:34

Most of my customers have annoyed me this week. They've had all winter to sort their shit out but they now demand repairs and want it all done by next week 🤬

Having to travel by bus today and no one offered me a seat even though I’m obviously disabled (walking sticks and a very visible tremor). I actually asked if anyone could spare their seat, silence. So I had to ask the driver to let me back off. I actually sat and cried a little in the bus stop afterwards. People’s attitudes to disabled people has really deteriorated lately with the government insinuating we are all on the scam for benefits and don’t work. It’s upset me more than it usually would this week for obvious reasons.

I’m sad and cross to read this. So sorry this happened and hope you are okay and have some irl support.

I hope your weekend is better than today 💐

handsdownthebest · 28/03/2025 19:38

People complaining because the government wants to get them working… and I am not talking about people with disabilities .
BTW I am a labour voter and work in food poverty.

I ordered a repeat prescription for a new inhaler I switched to recently. I couldn't remember the name of it as I was out when I ordered it online so I put "white inhaler". Collected it from the pharmacist this morning to find they've given me my old type of inhaler, the blue one. I rang to complain & they said don't worry, they'll put the correct one through. I said but that means I'm £10 out of pocket due to your mistake. They told me to take the blue one back for a refund. Yeah, like they'll do that...

SoOxon · 28/03/2025 19:43

The drivers who do not understand how to use a merge lane. It's called merge in turn for a reason, just bloody let people in, there is a massive queue anyway so it's not going to save any time.

PenguinLover24 · 28/03/2025 19:56

The man who decided to pull out on me on a roundabout and he was inches away from crashing into the side where my baby was. Safe to say mamma bear rage took over and he got both my horn and mouth 🤣🤣

Andsoitbeganagain · 28/03/2025 19:56

In no particular order, My team, my manager, his manager, HR, clients.

LasagneLasagne · 28/03/2025 20:00

DS got whacked in the head by a child at school who has form for being unkind 'because it's funny'. The school are dealing with it, so I'm not annoyed at them, but I am annoyed at the little turd who did it.

tucked under something

There are no Somethings to be under! The bed, the dining table, the cat… all explored. I’m starting to think I left them on the roof of the car or they never actually existed…

Poppymeldrum · 28/03/2025 20:32

I work with a complete idiot

He's lazy, full of bullshit and believes his own hype (he's also has autism)

I was on shift with him the other day,and for reasons best known to himself,he stood grinning at the drinks machine while I slogged my guts out during a rush and then raced after the manager to tell her I'd been doing coke in the customer toilets, while he did all the running around

It was easily disproved (we have very good cctv which proved id not been near the loos all day) but it was the fact he chased the manager just to tell lies about me

I complained and was told to drop it 'as we know what he's like'

I'm sick to the back teeth of him

StrikeItMucky · 28/03/2025 21:17

Errrrrm, where do I begin?!!
My manager and her piss poor managing and organisation skills
My lazy, younger colleague
Many of the clients I deal with on a daily basis
Inconsiderate road users
My significant other
My scraggy looking eyelashes
My increasing waistline
My huge lack of drive and/or energy to do anything other than comfort eat
The perimenopause/menopause
And my inability to stop thinking and panicking about my own death 🙃

JHound · 28/03/2025 21:19

The playground bullies occupying the White House.

My boss wanting a natter at 9am about nonsense.

NippyNinjaCrab · 28/03/2025 22:13

Evri not delivering the dog food on time AGAIN!

MrsRuthFisher · 28/03/2025 22:25

My amazing boss and mentor resigning. Gutted is an understatement.

MrsRuthFisher · 28/03/2025 22:32

I mean, technically it's made me sad rather than annoyed. But I am raging at the circumstances that led to the resignation.
