Swinging teachers

Interested to read some opinions on this. Someone we know has found out that a teacher at their child's school is a swinger. This person is aghast about this and wants to report the teacher (not sure what for) and is refusing to let them teach their child.
My attitude is that as long as it doesn't affect their work (whichbit clearly isnt) then what the teacher chooses to do in their private time is their business and their business only. ATBU?

2. if it is I would seriously question the judgement of a teacher who allowed this to become known, they are surely in breach of their school social media policy

It's been at least 2 years since we had a "teacher is a swinger" thread.

But on that logic no one bats an eyelid if someone is on tinder, or any other dating app, if it was an app they got found on (and I'm not saying it was as I don't know) what's the difference? One is a single person looking for friendship/sex/relationship the other is multiple people. Double standards?

It's no one's business, your acquaintance needs to stay in her lane. I imagine teachers and into all sorts of things in their personal lives.

Parent wanting to police a teacher's private life. I'm sadly not even surprised. That woman needs to get over herself.

No teacher who also swings is daft enough to have their photo public on a swinging site so the only way someone could 100% know for sure is if they were also on said swinging site and swapped pics or met them in a club.

True or not, nobody else's business, it's not illegal and they are not doing in the classroom.

Shouldn’t bother anyone unless they’re a nosy, judgemental twat but it’s a big issue on the swinging scene. Lots of profiles that say ‘won’t share face pics due to job’ which you know means teacher or policeman.

It’s really unfair - I couldn’t care less who the kids’ teachers shag in their spare time as long as they show up to class with a half decent lesson plan!

Let's be honest,all your kids teachers are probably having sex. For the school or parents to police who hey do this with (between consenting adults of age and capacity) would be massively overstepping.

I'm impressed at a teacher having the time and energy for this. To he honest as long as they aren't breaching anything in their contract....mine says something about forming relationships with parents then they aren't doing anything wrong.

Why would a regulator care about someone posting their face on a swinging website? Unless they also included their place of work there, it really is nobody's business and nothing that should be regulated.

Your friend is unreasonable. I think swinging is vile but it doesn’t stop someone from being a good teacher.
