A full wood store and full basket of wood by the fire...

Ugh. I love the feeling. I think I have a bit of prepper in me. I love the actual act of stocking it all up and then looking at it like a caveman who's brought home a leg of mammoth for the family.

Sinking my freezing cold body into a hot bath.
An early night with fresh bed linen, even better if it's new.
Knowing all the housework is done when I've got the house completely to myself and time to relax.

A scrubbed house with a lit candle! Kids’ uniforms all laid out for the week ahead, my work clothes washed and ironed for the week ahead, school/ work bags packed and by the door, freezer full of meal prepped foods, reaching ground zero with the washing… is it obvious I’m aggressively type A?!?!?

Being outside at 7 am for my run, watching the sun come up, no one around, very few cars on the road and the birds chirping away - bliss

Getting home from work. Into comfy clothes, cup of coffee, feet up for an hour before I start on dinner.

I'm exactly the same. I also love storm prep haul videos, watching people in North America stocking up in anticipation of hurricanes/blizzards/etc

I think this has to be the ultimate feeling of all doesn't it?
