First Post nailed it! 😆😆😆

I'd pronounce it like Eeyore.

Chocaholic1216 · 07/01/2025 09:50

Yo ee?

Kitchenspade · 07/01/2025 09:49

Is it Irish? Efah?

That's Aoife.

This name is trying too hard. There's no consonants ffs. It sounds like a line from Old Macdonald.

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 07/01/2025 09:51

Ee Eye Oh Eye, if i didn't have a chance to Google how to pronounce first.

Berlinlover · 07/01/2025 09:51

It’s definitely not Irish. I’ve no idea how to pronounce it.

How would you pronounce the 'name' Eieoie?

Eee-oh is how I would.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 07/01/2025 09:51

Ee-oh-ee.
But perhaps it’s one of those Irish names whose pronunciation (to my English eyes anyway) bears no relation to how it’s spelt.

ForgottenPasswordNewAccount · 07/01/2025 09:51

e -o - e

moonshinepoursthroughmywindow · 07/01/2025 09:52

I'd guess Ay-oh-ee, but I think it would be a difficult name to live with.

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 07/01/2025 09:52

Like Yo-ee?

Which sounds horrible to my ears.

IncidentallyAndAccidentally · 07/01/2025 09:53

Old Macdonald had a farm.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 07/01/2025 09:53

You know that kid will have the nickname “Old McDonald” by the end of the first day.

Whydoeseveryonewanttoargue · 07/01/2025 09:54

Seriously I am genuinely asking. OP is this a real name or have you made one up?

Either way that kind is in for a lifetime of mispronunciation, confusion on spelling and ridicule.

notprincehamlet · 07/01/2025 09:54

Old McDonald had a farm E-I-E-O-I-E

HowdyDoody2025 · 07/01/2025 09:54
