Inspired by another thread

I find conspiracy theories really interesting. I have never ‘believed’ any of them, more enjoy discussing them and how likely it seems that they could be true. I also think it’s more far fetched to believe that everything we have ever been told or ever will be told is the whole truth.

Are there any CTs you believe in? Lead me down a rabbit hole please!

Much more likely to have survived, but it was a very bad smash, no certainty

Too many variables for it to have been planned, that's for sure.

kurt cobain .. just love him too much to believe that he did kill himself although it’s probably true. Also Princess Di sounds very suspect but my love of the royal family keeps that suspicion in check ….

Why do you love people so much who you don't know, will never know and who will never care a jot about you?

Ohhbaby · 23/12/2024 07:59

Again, which wasn't true was it? It was much lower than that

For those fully vaccinated against infection, the observed effectiveness of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was 91.2% and of the Moderna vaccine was 98.1%, while the effectiveness of the CoronaVac vaccine was found to be 65.7%.

Electric cars are more about air quality. People in inner cities with breathing conditions die when air quality drops. The idiot government pushed diesel engines (remember the take back scheme?) but didn't understand it would create air quality problems. Electric cars are still charged using electricity largely from..fossil fuel.

Electric cars use 1/5 the energy that fossil fuelled cars do
So whether or not those fuels are pumped into the car and inefficiently burned, or burned en masse in power plants and used to charge a battery actually makes a difference
Air quality is just a bonus

I hear you, but do you think the populus looks at whether an article was peer reviewed?
A lot of us do, which is why we said, Whoah Whoah Whoah, these articles aren't reviewed, the studies arent cross checked etc. Why are the guidelines what they are, re COVID.
It's hard to go back to find the guidelines that CDC put out, as it has since been updated on their website.
I tried to show the pp who said that "no one ever said it was 100% effective" that they did.
And yeah, some of us said what a minute go to the original research etc, but most people don't do that.

But you have not shown the pp who said, "no one ever..." you have showed that one journalist wrote about a trial in a small group. I don't think the populous took that person's opinion for government policy.

Surely it's more likely your friends son's vision has just deteriorated to the point they are now calling it moderate or high myopia? I've worn glasses for nearly 30 years because I'm severely short-sighted (about -8 last time I checked) and I've never heard of this!

No, he is -1.25. Nobody is trying to sell you anything because you are not the target market due to age.

That shot has been made by dozens of people, it isn't remotely difficult, and Oswald was a marine sharpshooter. Rogan did it with a crossbow. R Lee Ermey took a group of half a dozen marines that all made the shot with the same rifle. It really isn't difficult.

I don’t think JFK was assassinated at all. I think he died in 2020, aged 103.

Why would they hide it though? seems like a lot of effort to lie.

Because she was nearly 40 and it would have been difficult though not impossible to get pregnant in 3 months like she did. They went off to Canada too just after the wedding, then were out of sight for a while. All that cloak and dagger stuff when baby was born. It just didn't sit right with me

marmia1234 · 23/12/2024 01:28

TBH, My eyes were fine , perfect , for 45 years. I was told everyone should have everything checked at 45 years. I was given the mildest prescription possible, I;m now 54 and can't read a book without glasses. I'm not convinced that it might be a case of the cure is worse than the problem ( for some people). Over the next 8 years my prescription has got stronger. Cannot read small print at all, have to get large print books or use glasses. My 89yo mother has better eyesight than me and never wears her glasses. ( she was prescribed but she's a stubborn dear and just refused to wear them) I appreciate this does not apply to everyone.

This sounds like age related change though - the eye loses the ability to focus on close objects. Annoying but normal.

AwfullyWeeBillyBigchin · 23/12/2024 08:23

But you'll happily overlook the billions who received the vaccines but were unaffected? 🤔

And ignore the fact that no one claimed there were no possible ill effects from the vaccines? Did you forget why the AZ vaccine was withdrawn from use? 🤨

Err actually Pfizer tried to prevent the public from seeing trial data for 75 years. Thankfully that was stopped and they had to disclose it.

rainypane · 23/12/2024 08:47

There are lies that corrupt and powerful people propagate to cover up common or garden theft, plundering and even armed conflict. I saw this with my own eyes, and documented it first hand, in my former profession. Sometimes the conspiracy theory is what is being covered and sometimes it is the cover up.

I heard from Trevor (I'm not allowed to say his surname) that Conspiracy Theories are all created by a secret Government Department (in cahoots with the CIA and GRU) to fragment people under the 'divide and rule' policy, in order to maintain power by exploiting or creating divisions among the populance.

Yeah, Trev told me the same thing.

What happened then and why?
I’m not entirely certain but I believe Courtney Love had something to do with it. Wasn’t there a guy who was hired by her as a PI and he got suspicious and devoted his life to trying to prove she was behind it. He found scraps of paper where she had practiced his hand writing (presume to fake his suicide note) and plenty have said that with the amount of Heroin in his system and the gun that was used that it would have been impossible for him to have died by his own hand'

Kurt Cobain had a long history of depression.

He had already tried to commit suicide by swallowing pills when in Italy (and was taken to hospital on time thanks to Courtney).

He also had several relatives who had taken their own lives.

He was struggling with addiction, fame and physical health issues.

It is very sad but frankly not surprising that he ended his life.

There is a lot of misogyny against his wife at the root of this silly conspiracy theory...

Applesonthelawn · 23/12/2024 08:52

I think the recent terrorist attack at the Christmas market in Magdeburg has all the components necessary for conspiracy theorists to fill their boots with, but don't go on social media so haven't heard it happening yet and don't want to unnecessarily prompt it. But with elections coming very soon and a terrorist attack by a Saudi refugee, who is a medical doctor, being labelled as an "anti-Muslim", "anti-immigration", and "AFD supporting" move feels very much as if someone is trying to stretch the truth a bit, even though that's what's in the mainstream media. It's early days so I'm open minded though.

Because they were formally cleared.

Just because something is statistically more likely does not make it true.

They were not formally cleared? They remained suspects in Portugal.

I'm not sure that's beyond reasonable doubt evidence that she had a fake bump.

I'm also not sure the RF would have stood for that for no medical reason. For the reason it would cause so much agg if it came out. They had a more open stance towards the end of the Queens life.

I do think those kids are extraordinarily ginger though, more so than Harry. How does that happen? I think the photo was doctored or then kids alhave their hair dyed that colour.

sashh · 23/12/2024 08:53

pushchairprincess · 23/12/2024 08:29

The red haired gene is recessive - is it likely that both would be read haired and not have black hair like their 'mom' ? being redheaded suits that narrative. I do believe that they may be Harrys children, and maybe using MM's eggs - but do believe they came from surrigate births and should not be in the line of succession.
I feel truly sorry for these children growing up not being part of a family -however dysfunctional (arnt all families) knowing that they were kept from their families when they grow up will create a huge impact on those two.

Genetics isn't as simple as that. Lucy and Maria Aylmer were born from the same pregnancy with the same parents.

We have some red hair in my family, it seems to jump about with us, one of my grandparents had a red streak but otherwise dark hair. Two of my cousins are red heads, their parents are not.

Harry's uncle and aunts have red hair.

Agree. Dd got a pulmonary embolism after her covid vaccine. A healthy 21yo, no risk factors, not on the pill. But people look at me like I’m a nut job anti vaxxer if i mention it.

I am really sorry for your daughter.
I do believe you, I might not jelieve that the risks outweigh the gains so.

The only one I think could have some traction is covid vaccines by pure numbers are causing health problems in susceptible people.

My colleague has spouted all the following since the start of covid, we have been listening to it daily, he spent a lot of time on our furlough 'researching'...he wasn't as bad before covid just distrusting of 'authority'

chemtrails/ weather control
covid
vaccines- causing mass deaths, clots/ heart..
flat earth
dome over earth ( firmament)
ice wall with territories behind
tunnels between continents
birth bonds
sovereign citizen
McDonald's human meat ( abducted/ abused murdered children)
illuminati -elites
World Economic Forum
agenda 2030
climate change
Jewish conspiracy
Holocaust denial
Lizard people
Aliens/ 'they' will use holograms to replicate invasion in near future, recent alien stuff in USA was to gauge reaction( covid restrictions were practise for mass restrictions) Project Bluebeam is forerunner with drones.
Boat people across Channel are invading army, stealth invasion
paedophile network 'elites' including all Royal family in cohorts with Disney running American paedophile network( see Macdonalds)
Giants
15 minutes cities, will trigger laws on movement, not allowed out of your 15 minutes without authorisation.
Mudflat

I think you mean 'mudflood' 😂

The last few years I’ve suspected chemtrails and geoengineering and solar management (which is a thing it’s on government website if you look), definitely something going on, but this post has definitely enlightened me and made me think hmmmm maybe !
also Covid was one big lie, definitely things don’t add up there. The Covid jabs where a complete money making scam that have killed more than Covid, again not a conspiracy really as proven true.
Dianas death not accident.

Jeez, if you think that the covid vacs killed more than the virus you seriously need to step away from your screens for a few years, or maybe the rest of your life.

'A complete money making scam' - do you seriously think that governments around the world conspired to to create a situation where millions would die, so that some drug companies and the supply chain would profit? That they would undermine their economies so that a select few would make money? That's absolutely mad.

AwfullyWeeBillyBigchin · 23/12/2024 08:59

You clearly do not understand how immunity works. Some diseases give you natural immunity for a time, or for life. Flu gives you about 3 years immunity.

Chicken pox usually gives you life long immunity but not always, it is possible to get it twice and it can later develop in to shingles.

The article you linked to is about a small study that at the time of writing had not been peer reviewed.

Crazy that someone who probably would say "don't believe everything you read in the MSM" would share an article like that so uncritically 😂
