When do you get paid your Christmas wage?

Two friends this week have told me they get paid their wage when they finish work for Christmas (one tomorrow and one on Monday)
I get paid at the end of the month as always
I didn’t realise this was a thing?

Last working day of the month for me, so Tuesday 31st Dec. Which is absolutely ideal. Obviously.

Varies from job to job. I have not heard about Christmas wage. Just heard of December's salary

today, a weekend early. annoying as hell as all my direct debits are set up for real payday so i have to transfer the amounts into another account as to not overspend in error. Makes for a long January…

Usually get paid on the 26th but will be the 24th which is fine - l won't spend anything on Christmas day or Boxing Day and next month will be the 24th too as 26th falls on a Sunday so hopefully won't have too much of an impact

My last place did this and pulled Jan forward, Feb is a shorter month, but i hate it. Encourages me to spend what i don’t have.

Yes, paid today but usually the 27th.

We got paid yesterday, one day early.

I seem to remember it was early last year too.

Dh gets paid on the 25th so got paid today.

I get paid on the last working day so the 31st for me.

I miss the days of being paid weekly…

December wage was received on 30th November

Januarys will be received on 31st December

Thank goodness. I can see how some people would run into difficulty if getting their January wage before Christmas

Usual pay day is 4th of the month.
Usually January's is paid on the 24th December, which is bad enough.
But this year they've paid us today (20th).

So next payday is 4th February, so yeah, great 🙄

Got paid today, it's usually 28th of the month. But very aware it's over 5 weeks til the next pay day now!

I got paid today which is 8 days early. I think the problem is even without Christmas January goes on FOREVER which makes it worse

for 15 years I got paid every 4 weeks which was brilliant. When I got a 'free' mortgage month I was richer than Midas

I get paid on the 15th of every month so doesn't change for Christmas.
