This case is just beyond the realms of horrifying,

This poor child.

@Awwlookatmybabyspider

I really don’t think ordinary members of the public should have to sit on Jury on cases as horrific has this. They’re not trained or equipped to cope with it.

This.

SugarIsHardtoAvoid · 13/11/2024 13:34

Oh god. So awful. My heart goes out to that poor little girl.

Abitofhassle · 13/11/2024 13:36

OchAyeTheN00 · 13/11/2024 12:43

Why now? Is he protecting the other adults who are just as culpable?

Protecting himself more like it!
Must’ve realised that the evidence was going against him and couldn’t face his depravity being displayed in court, cowardly behaviour
Men who abuse don’t like being held to scrutiny or account.
All the adults in this poor child’s life should all be held to account.
Hope he rots.

I8toys · 13/11/2024 13:36

I hope he's not saying it was all him so the others get off scott free. They are complicit in doing nothing to help her.

What a beautiful little girl.

OtherS · 13/11/2024 12:58

I don't understand how someone can be allowed to refuse to give permission for the cast? Can someone also refuse to give permission for DNA, or fingerprints? Is very odd that he's suddenly decided to do this, I really don't think he should just be taken at his word. Especially if that means the others aren't fully examined.

Dental impressions are intimate samples that require consent to be taken (much in the same way as penile swabs or blood). Fingerprints are not.

Last time we were at the orthodontist, DS had a scan and they had images that could be 3d printed (instead of the horrible moulds they put in your mouth)

Lisanoonan · 13/11/2024 13:41

I'm sick of hearing about women getting beaten to death by men in that religion.

Men of all religions and no religion can do child abuse. But it's definitely a problem in his particular religion

Gingerlingerlonger · 13/11/2024 13:42

I can't read any more about this case. That beautiful little face, always followed by the images of those three monsters. I just can't. I hope they all rot in prison.

I think so.

Mygosh · 13/11/2024 13:49

Absolutely shocking. I can't help but cry when I read this.
Rest in peace poor little darling.

Thefaceofboe · 13/11/2024 13:49

Cloouudnine · 13/11/2024 12:36

It is unbearable to read. Purely evil, I can’t conclude otherwise. And the other adults complicit.

That poor little girl. I looked at my children this morning, mostly happy with a bit of grumbling about getting up early for school and not being allowed donuts for breakfast and I thought, how can anyone want to visit such suffering and pain on a child?

It is the worst imaginable horror.

I know, I couldn’t do it to any child never mind my own child. Pure evil

Investinmyself · 13/11/2024 13:54

I would imagine there will be an inquiry after the criminal case concludes. So many issues to look at.
What evidence was before family court when they decided she was to live with him not mum. If he wasn’t convicted re previous abuse allegations made by former girlfriends was the family court aware.
If he wasn’t charged why not? They are serious allegations by these women.
Why was he here in student visa? Was he actually registered and attending a course, did anyone check.
His marriage to Sara’s mum just before visa expired to enable him to stay - Asian male marrying polish citizen just before visa expires should surely have triggered some checks.
Sara starts wearing hijab. Staff at school report she seems to be pulling it to hide face. What action was taken or was it assumed she was choosing to wear it herself?
Child is then removed from school to be homeschooled. What checks were made. It appears school had noted bruising before she left.
Neighbours reporting hearing screams and bangs and not reporting. Was it just not wanting to get involved or part of acceptable behaviour in the local community to physically chastise children.

Lisanoonan · 13/11/2024 13:55

I don't think it's shocking to a lot of people.

A lot of adults are completely fucked up. If you put a child near them they take it out on the child

I grew up in a similar violent abusive family.

My best friend had a dad who used to beat his mother black and blue. He told me that his dad beat his mother so badly that he put his mother into hospital for months, and all the services left him, the child, to live with his father alone for those months!

devilsadvocate77 · 13/11/2024 13:56

Horrific. I once worked for a short while for an agency that supplied social workers. I know this is often a low pay profession but I was shocked by the complete lack of energy/motivation in most of those I interviewed including in the people who were already in paid employment (as social workers).

Often there was a slight language barrier but so many of these individuals didn't seem as they cared about their jobs (or the people they cared for/engaged with) sadly.

Lisanoonan · 13/11/2024 13:58

Child abuse is everywhere.

How to tackle it properly is the issue they need to be looking at.

placemats · 13/11/2024 13:58

He admitted it to the step-mother's defence barrister who said that a video two days before her death showed Sara dancing around. He murdered Sara in a brutal manner.

This really is one of the most shocking cases I've ever heard about. Sara's father is evil.

I can assure you it is not religion that makes men beat women and children - and rape them too. Don't give them the luxury of that escape route. They alone are responsible. Men of all religions and none are more than happy to make women and children suffer. Nothing to do with any of the religions.

I guess you're aware of the Archbishop of Canterbury resigning and why? I assume you're not talking about men who follow that religion, right?

Religion is not what causes men to abuse. It only offers a shield. Don't give it to them.

nam3c4ang3 · 13/11/2024 13:01

sickening isn't it... i totally understand when some people say the death penalty for men like this is fair. Poor child.

No, he needs a bit of prison justice. A death sentence would be too good for someone like this.

SabrinaChic · 13/11/2024 14:03

Why did they do it?

CocoDC · 13/11/2024 14:05

I’ve heard the mum was abusive too which is why social services got involved but the school was supposed to be monitoring her and contact them regularly which they obvs failed to do as she was going in with bruises and nobody thought to make the call

Great but a forensic ondontologist uses dental samples to compare against bite marks.

I disagree. There is child abuse that is particular to different religions.

For example honor killings of teenage daughters only happens in certain religions.

Unfortunately after a few years in the job many social workers either have to develop a thick shell or they burn out completely. They are usually grossly overworked, and see cases if not quite this bad then still pretty dreadful every day, with up to 30 cases each to deal with.

The required paperwork is very heavy with every interaction needing to be formally recorded (even failed calls or attempted visits where no contact was made), regular case reviews with their boss and other involved workers, pathways plans to be written, and & all notes and documentation added to the system. And this is without the actual visits, calls, or any other actions that are needed to be carried out.

Investinmyself · 13/11/2024 14:13

I doubt they will ever disclose why.
History of controlling behaviour towards women. Sara was female.
Belief that physical punishment is acceptable (his letter when he fled uk)
Child from previous relationship scapegoated and not treated as a child of family.
Race element perhaps - she was mixed race.
Seeing her mother’s traits in her and taking it out on child or ‘correction’ so she doesn’t end up like her mother.
