To be disgusted by the Deafening Silence of Celebrities in the wake of Diddy allegations?

I can't be the only one who's deeply troubled by the silence from certain A-list celebrities following the recent allegations against Sean Combs aka Diddy. It's been weeks since the news broke, and the lack of response from some of his closest associates in the industry is, quite frankly, disturbing.

Let's talk about Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for instance. These two have been thick as thieves with him for years. Countless collaborations, public appearances, and even vacations together. And now? Radio silence. Not even a peep about condemning the alleged actions or distancing themselves from him. It's baffling.

Ashton Kutcher is another one who's keeping silent. Given his vocal stance against human trafficking and exploitation, you'd think he'd be the first to speak up. But nope, nothing.

Now, I want to tread carefully when it comes to Usher and Justin Bieber. There's been speculation about their own experiences, and if they were indeed victims themselves, I absolutely respect their right to process this privately. No one should be forced to relive trauma or speak out if they're not ready.

But for those who weren't victimised? Their silence is deafening. How hard is it to release a statement saying, "I don't condone these actions" or "I had no knowledge of these alleged crimes"? Anything would be better than this awkward void.

I'm honestly shocked that there hasn't been more public backlash against these silent celebrities. In an era where "cancel culture" can be triggered by a misplaced tweet, how are they getting a free pass? Having your longtime friend and associate arrested on such serious charges, and you can't even muster up a word of condemnation? It's beyond disappointing.

What do you all think? Am I being too harsh, or is this silence truly inexcusable? Should we, as consumers and fans, be demanding more accountability from these public figures?

The racketeering is a huge problem. This means there was an enterprise and that others were involved.

I imagine some will be called up to court and could be in trouble if they speak out noe

its federal. The federal cases have a 97% success rate. Meaning if the feds come after you you’re properly in the shit already. They’ve spent years getting this case together and I imagine no one is saying a word as they’ll get implicated if some of them already are implicated

watch this space for sure.

@Cerealkiller4U what do you think jay z has done? I don't believe the Cathy white stuff

Oh and jay Z lost 4 million followers in the last fortnight 😬 so people are clearly very aware of his likely involvement in all of this.

Who is Cathy?

I’ve followed Jaguar wright for years. Everything she’s ever said has come true

she says jay Z is worse than diddy and to expect some news about him soon…..I’m 99.99999% certain she’s telling the truth and one of the only ones telling the truth.

That's really interesting, thanks. Must admit I know very little about her.

I think he’s more involved. There HAS to be people involved for the racketeering to even be present. There HAS to be someone who has spoken up for the racketeering to of been the biggest complaint of the indictment.

I think they’re all shitting themselves. That’s why.

Absolutely 💯

notaurewhatusername · 29/09/2024 22:18

@Cerealkiller4U Cathy white is apparently someone who had an affair with jay z and got pregnant the same time Beyoncé was pregnant with blue ivy so jay z murdered her to save himself the hassle of all the bad publicity it would bring etc

Oh yeah. She’s had a child hasn’t she? I mean that’s easily found out and we might find that out in this case. You never know.

bbbbbabbbbby · 29/09/2024 22:20

They are waiting to see which way the wind blows …. And shopping for lawyers depending on their level of involvement.

Guys & sex workers: rich guys, poor guys … all customers - this part of the story is not news.

HillsNValleys · 29/09/2024 22:21

What are these people supposed to say? Surely any sensible person would wait for his conviction, not start releasing statements at this early stage when it hasn’t yet gone to court?

And to be honest, even then…do we really need to hear carefully crafted publicist statements about how these people are ‘shocked’ and ‘condemn Diddy’ etc etc
Meaningless.

notaurewhatusername · 29/09/2024 22:22

For the umpteenth time, has anyone seen the Cassie video?! I would expect someone to have spoken out about that alone and how disgusting it was - pushing the indictment aside.

@UmbrellaEllaEllaElla exactly but I wish they would all lose their followers as a result of this as it's completely wrong.

If I had a best mate that was arrested for a crime I'd say SOMETHING.

It's safe to say I won't attend a Beyoncé concert again

What would you say if your friend was arrested?

To who?

To other friends? What would you say, would you say she was innocent and you stand by her, or would you say 'its terrible what she has been accused of'?

Either way you're commenting on an open police investigation and who cares what you think of what she has done

I couldnt care less what his previous associates think of him, let the legal system do its job and follow due process. Its not for people to be 'speaking out' as if they are relevant to anything.

Lwrenn · 29/09/2024 22:26

Diddy is also alleged to have been behind blowing up kid cudi's car.

His treatment of women, children, use of sex workers and the fact he's likely responsible for many deaths make him one of the most heinous public villans since Savile.

And the fact he cameo'd in jesy nelsons first single confirmed that, all rumours aside, he's clearly a massive prick.

Eminem, too.

Ke$ha too

SonicTheHodgeheg · 29/09/2024 22:31

Diddy/Jay-Z are also frequently mentioned in Tupac and Aaliyah’s deaths too.

Diddy got away with using a gun in a nightclub shooting back when he was dating J-Lo too. I wouldn’t risk my life when he’s been able ho behave like this for decades.

one word : Lawsuits or libel etc

bbbbbabbbbby · 29/09/2024 22:31

Yes the hotel footage was shocking.

Hotels are really creepy … in the way they work with (male) customers to organize sex workers, drugs etc, approved sex workers at the bar w concierge gets a cut . And help husbands with mistresses.
All smiling and pleasure to serve you MrsX, whilst they know that Mistress is staying at same hotel on another floor.

Cover up what you don’t want known for ££££

JenniferBooth · 29/09/2024 22:31

Kelly Brook said something on Loose Women last week. She said an actor ex boyfriend (didnt name the actor but i remember who she means) stopped her from going to one of Diddys parties At the time she thought he was being controlling but she now says she can see he was protecting her.

This is crackly my point. Why would you continue to be best friends with someone who has done all the crap he's done in plain sight!!!

Ignore the indictment, the things he is known to have done are downright disgusting

Their legal teams have probably told them to lay low but even if they haven’t, the PR teams definitely have. I imagine Ashton Kutcher’s PR team have told him not to so much as blink in public after he made an apology video for a rapist last year. Two ‘oops, I accidentally hang around with predators and traffickers but I’m innocent’ videos in 12 months is a really hard sell, even for the best PR team.
