To be disgusted by the Deafening Silence of Celebrities in the wake of Diddy allegations?

I can't be the only one who's deeply troubled by the silence from certain A-list celebrities following the recent allegations against Sean Combs aka Diddy. It's been weeks since the news broke, and the lack of response from some of his closest associates in the industry is, quite frankly, disturbing.

Let's talk about Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for instance. These two have been thick as thieves with him for years. Countless collaborations, public appearances, and even vacations together. And now? Radio silence. Not even a peep about condemning the alleged actions or distancing themselves from him. It's baffling.

Ashton Kutcher is another one who's keeping silent. Given his vocal stance against human trafficking and exploitation, you'd think he'd be the first to speak up. But nope, nothing.

Now, I want to tread carefully when it comes to Usher and Justin Bieber. There's been speculation about their own experiences, and if they were indeed victims themselves, I absolutely respect their right to process this privately. No one should be forced to relive trauma or speak out if they're not ready.

But for those who weren't victimised? Their silence is deafening. How hard is it to release a statement saying, "I don't condone these actions" or "I had no knowledge of these alleged crimes"? Anything would be better than this awkward void.

I'm honestly shocked that there hasn't been more public backlash against these silent celebrities. In an era where "cancel culture" can be triggered by a misplaced tweet, how are they getting a free pass? Having your longtime friend and associate arrested on such serious charges, and you can't even muster up a word of condemnation? It's beyond disappointing.

What do you all think? Am I being too harsh, or is this silence truly inexcusable? Should we, as consumers and fans, be demanding more accountability from these public figures?

Victim
this lady is a victim. If you would like to listen to her experience the link is there.

this should lead you to several more.

My sister used to talk about the MK Ultra stuff a lot. She came across a survivor story many, many years ago and then looked into it a lot. She opened my eyes to a lot of things and said a lot of what would come out, before it was mainstream and was very good at researching it all, it was one of the things she did in her spare time. Some people called her a crazy conspiracy theorist too, I wish she was still here to say "I told you so" to people!

Yes the mk ultra stuff is unreal, we’re only shown a fraction of what is actually used.
we were all crazy tin hats when we refused the Covid vaccines. Now look.
but that’s another thread for another day 😂

I’m sorry for your loss, must be hard. She sounds like she was great :) x

So I've just came across this clip skip to 15:15 to see a charity event attended By p.diddy and 100s of english celebrities.
To name a few that I recognised;
David & Vic Beckham
Gordon Ramsey
Sharon Osborne
Wayne Rooney

Video looks to be from 15 or 20yrs ago
Whereby Diddy is auctioning a day at his recording studios, weekend at one of his mansions and a Saturday night party attendance whereby he says "even though you attend on the Saturday you may wake up laying next to HIM on a Wednesday"
He's literally selling these parties in broad daylight and everyone is laughing about it.

Ofcourse most of these celebrities were most likely non the wiser but still interesting. The bids went all the way to £100k and both Sharon Osborne and Wayne Rooney made some bids. And p.diddy is soo chuffed when Rooney makes a bid.

Thank you. She was great, by day she was a civil servant, by night she was an investigator 🤣 she would send me stuff and say "you need your VPN, it's only available in South America" 🤣

I have read that the baby oil was to cover the children so that they couldn’t easily escape. It was a tiled room apparently. Heart breaking if true

So the perpetrators presumably were also somewhat incapacitated by this too?

I presume so- also something about fingerprints, that you can’t lift a viable print of baby oil is used. There is a lot of theories as to why it was used

soupfiend · 04/10/2024 19:52

What are the theories?

Have a look on x, tik tok you tube. The main 3 I’ve heard is using for lube, that it was used so victims couldn’t escape and that it contained drugs.

soupfiend · 05/10/2024 06:58

Well baby oil doesnt make very good lube as far as I know and my query earlier about people not being able to escape is because practically it doesnt make sense, if someone is incapacitated as a victim then surely the perpetrator is just as incapacited by not being able to move around freely or grab hold of someone etc

Drugs I dont get at all, are the drugs being transported within the oil, so the oil is a carrier and a disguise? or is it to drug someone by topical means into the skin? Bit confused by that one.

Im not on tiktok or x so cant access that but I have seen youtube bits and pieces, theres far too much of it and its people just being talking heads and (often) making jokes about it. Youtube is not really 'evidence', but then I suppose any investigation is in its infancy.

if the perps are wearing gloves It wouldn’t be as slippy as skin on skin.

I don’t think we will ever know unless they release any info, at this point it’s listening to victims and their belief of what happened and what they think was in it.

I try not to look into it anymore as it is really disturbing- hence my hesitation to share links etc. I don’t want it coming up on my algorithm

Was just commenting to share what I had learnt.

It's nothing like the Nicola Bulley case at all! Talk about grasping at straws. We get it, you're probably a fan of people who have been named!

Like @sonicthehodgeheg says, most big celebs will have been at one of his parties at some point, it's not those that are being named, it's the after party "freak offs" although some of the victims are angry that some did see them there before they left and never questioned why, however they aren't named as having involvement.

It's not just the freak offs either, when one of the most dangerous celebs is finally being held accountable, it's the time for all the others connected to Diddy to be held accountable for their shady business that they've been getting away with.

It's exactly like the Bulley case in terms of the wackos coming out of the woodwork to whip up excitement and conspiracies about a news story.

That's what I was talking about.

And no. I'm not a fan of Sean Coombs or anyone else you and others have been posting about. I've never even heard of 90% of them and I can't stand rap 'music'.

Some of you are absolutely obsessed.

So if you're not bothered about the ones who have been arrested and are being implicated, you're not bothered about victims and survivors talking about their story and trying to get people to listen so they can get justice, you're not bothered about the sinister stuff powerful people are doing behind the smoke and mirrors of celebrity and are not bothered about hip hop, why do you keep coming back commenting?

I don't keep returning to threads on subjects I have no interest in.

Imagine starting an argument about a subject you know nothing about.

we’re all having a discussion about what we have seen that’s been spoken about so far, all stating our opinions on it. Some of us agree some of us disagree all showing each other different sides and points.
it’s an interesting case as we have all been brought up with a lot of the celebs named. And it is shocking.
Add to that the victims coming forward and the horrific allegations- yes people are going to talk about it.

then you pop up with
‘And no. I'm not a fan of Sean Coombs or anyone else you and others have been posting about. I've never even heard of 90% of them and I can't stand rap 'music’.

why are you on this thread? Other than to try cause trouble and name call??

SonicTheHodgeheg · 05/10/2024 21:08

This isn’t like Nicola Bulley at all.

I’m just an ordinary 40 something living in the UK and have heard these allegations years ago. Considering how many known abusers are known to be abusers years before they face justice, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to discuss things. Personally I find it alarming how quickly people stopped discussing Weinstein and Epstein. At one point I thought that a client list was going to be released but I guess rich men can afford legal help to hide their misdeeds.

Personally I find the coverup very interesting. I was a big fan of TV series like Scandal which is about protecting the White House and can’t help but wonder what help he had to maintain his Jekyl and Hyde life of respected businessman who was considered good enough for celebrity endorsement of Obama during the day and secret abuser at night.

As a celebrity, a lot of people in his network are known to everyone. It’s not unreasonable to discuss these people too.

The US Attorney’s Office have charged him. This means that a Grand Jury have heard the evidence and given prosecutors the go ahead to proceed with the legal process.

SonicTheHodgeheg · 05/10/2024 21:14

The theory about baby oil and fingerprints is chilling but makes sense. Some adults had to have medical treatment so it makes sense that child victims would be treated violently too.

Lowcarbonated · 09/12/2024 10:33

I know this thread hasn't been posted on in a month but rather than start a new one....I see Jay Z has been accused of raping a 13 year old alongside Coombs.

FUBAR77 · 09/12/2024 14:06

@Lowcarbonated yes I saw that this morning! It also said he’d filed a something against the lawyers a while back trying to say they were trying to extort money from him and ‘someone’ had hired private investigators to try and dig dirt on Tony Buzbys firm….which appears to have backfired in him now being named!

Jay-Z’s statement stinks of gaslighting in my opinion

RisingSunn · 09/12/2024 22:02

Jay Z’s statement is so arrogant. I can’t wait for all guilty parties to be exposed.

Lowcarbonated · 10/12/2024 07:13

His statement is utterly bizarre. Suggests to me someone in a panic.

Hey, yes I believe myself and demon hunter mentioned Jay z Beyoncé etc are all also involved and we got called tin hats- where are those people now?

its such a sad state of affairs, though painful for the victims this needs bringing to light and these monsters being shown for what they are
