To be disgusted by the Deafening Silence of Celebrities in the wake of Diddy allegations?

I can't be the only one who's deeply troubled by the silence from certain A-list celebrities following the recent allegations against Sean Combs aka Diddy. It's been weeks since the news broke, and the lack of response from some of his closest associates in the industry is, quite frankly, disturbing.

Let's talk about Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for instance. These two have been thick as thieves with him for years. Countless collaborations, public appearances, and even vacations together. And now? Radio silence. Not even a peep about condemning the alleged actions or distancing themselves from him. It's baffling.

Ashton Kutcher is another one who's keeping silent. Given his vocal stance against human trafficking and exploitation, you'd think he'd be the first to speak up. But nope, nothing.

Now, I want to tread carefully when it comes to Usher and Justin Bieber. There's been speculation about their own experiences, and if they were indeed victims themselves, I absolutely respect their right to process this privately. No one should be forced to relive trauma or speak out if they're not ready.

But for those who weren't victimised? Their silence is deafening. How hard is it to release a statement saying, "I don't condone these actions" or "I had no knowledge of these alleged crimes"? Anything would be better than this awkward void.

I'm honestly shocked that there hasn't been more public backlash against these silent celebrities. In an era where "cancel culture" can be triggered by a misplaced tweet, how are they getting a free pass? Having your longtime friend and associate arrested on such serious charges, and you can't even muster up a word of condemnation? It's beyond disappointing.

What do you all think? Am I being too harsh, or is this silence truly inexcusable? Should we, as consumers and fans, be demanding more accountability from these public figures?

This world is so seriously fucked up now. It makes me weep to think I’ve brought my poor, innocent daughter into it.

Also, wtf is up with these celebrities?! They’re all multi, multi millionaires already (100’s of millions in the bank if you’re the Carters) why would you NEED to get into trafficking etc?!

Ashton was AWFUL to Brit. Horrible. There's a reason she developed an eating disorder.

She was way too good for him.

Ashton and Mila also defended Danny Masterson and gave a character statement wanting the judge to be lenient with him. Nothing surprises me about him anymore!

God bless Keanu who just keeps himself to himself.

The stuff coming out goes far beyond the most named people too. Dave Chappelle and Katt Williams have said about the shady stuff on the comedy and TV circuit too. A lot on the comedy circuit are suspicious of Kevin Hart being a plant, because of how he came to prominence in comparison to the norm and they claim there's something not quite right about him.
Did anyone see the way he shushed Kelly Clarkson when she was saying about turning down millions being thrown in her face to do things she didn't want to do. A good few years ago I saw something from, who at the time it happened, was an up and coming MTV producer and Dave Chappelle told him to never accept invites to any of the parties otherwise he would end up selling his soul. I think too many people have been too scared of what would happen to them if they spoke out widely.

Of course a lot of these things are merely allegations, but there's no smoke without fire.

Edited

Dave Chapelle has no fucks to give and calls shit out where he sees it.I'm a big fan.

Well, the allegation stems from Jay Z jealousy over Dame Dash being with her, and he was beefing with Dash while wanting to be with her. She was also connected to Diddy around the R Kelly time, so God knows how many of them took advantage of her when she was young!
That whole New York collective is sinister as hell. That's also why spotlight is on JLo and MJB, Jaguar Wright has said they both need arresting along with Diddy. Also alleged is Nicki Minaj, not necessarily involved to the extent as others, but supposedly happy to cover up for people.

Diddys tunnels lead into Hugh Heffners house, and Clive Davis and Jim Iovine are more names being put into the spotlight too at the minute. The whole thing is just mind blowing.

Insane!

God I really hope he didn’t have a hand in Aaliyah's death.

Diddys tunnels?! so I’ve just googled that but apparently it was a rumour which wasn’t real.

Regardless this whole thing is crazy!

Power. When you have so much money and power and can have anything you want and think you have to get more and more depraved to get any thrill. That's why there's so much hard-core, really depraved porn around, people can just become immune to what used to thrill them and have to go harder and harder. It's like brainwashing, rewires your brain. If you're sociopathic enough, this is where it ends up!

The trafficked girls spoke of the tunnels so I'm not convinced it's a rumour.

No 😳

fashionqueen0123 · 30/09/2024 22:43

No 😳

How true it is, I don't know, but it's unlikely that Suge Knight would just make it up for shits and giggles when he's been trying to speak out about Diddy for donkeys years, since Biggie was hit.

Apparently, an egg was used to test if a fella was ready to be involved in diddys private party. If it couldn't be inserted or broke when inserted, then they weren't ready. Grim 😬

I think they’re all shitting themselves. That’s why.

This.
The feds don't mess around.
They have raided his house and have been working on a substantial case they don't intend to lose, given its profile.
I would imagine there will be many others implicated and anything they say now might expose them to contradiction.
They will be keeping their heads down to wait and see how far the muck will be flung and will they be caught in the blow back.

Nicki Minaj is married to a convicted rapist and her brother, who she has defended, is in jail for raping an 11 year-old, so her compass is way off whack, to put it mildly.

And it's been way off for such a long time. I remember watching her in a clip with Lil Wayne being very inappropriate with a teen boy. She is there and all she says is"stop" in a very mild manner. I can't find that one but i found this. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iZyqhBDlPaI

The thing is, I'm sure she must have suffered heinous abuse herself, just as Lil Wayne has and what he mentions in the clip. Here are also several clips of Birdman kissing him on the lips. Not rumour, but plain evidence. Without knowing Lil Wayne's story, you just assume hes become some idiot druggy. But he's actually been through alot. Same with Amana Bynes and so many people across the whole entertainment industry. Raz B talks about molestation when he was in B2K. It honestly is a rabbit hole. It's documented that P Diddy suffered abuse at a young age. As did R Kelly. It's just all so sinister and depressing. So much of it is in plain sight too. Or more subtle, like the time Cassie shaved half her head and we all thought it was a bold fashion statement.

Do those that are reading more into this really think that other people will be charged?

If it is as widespread as suggested, then it won't just involve Hollywood it will involve rich and powerful men/women from all aspects of life- I can't see that any institution will be free of involvement enough to bring everyone to justice.

Well Prince Harry was at one of the parties, but they believe it was a pre-party not the actual freak-offs.

I really hope the lid will come off on this one, and more names will be named and actually dealt with instead of being slapped on the wrist.

@MrsRobinsonsHandprints. The mayor of New York has already been indicted, and people seem to be forgetting that politicians are apparently heavily involved in this too. While there are no official links to the Diddy case, the timing is too weird - the mayor got indicted just a week after this broke, and let's not forget he gave Diddy the key to New York last year.

I do think others will be charged, but not major celebs. It'll probably be easy for a celeb to claim no knowledge even if they were at a "freak off" - unless they were involved in some corrupt way, like taking bribes. I doubt celebs need to do that financially, so it's more likely politicians are involved to this extent. For celebs, it's probably their image that could be under threat.

As for other arrests, that's more likely to hit politics and Diddy's entourage who were involved in organising things.

This whole situation seems to be unraveling into something much bigger than just the music industry. It's touching politics, entertainment, and who knows what else.

Lots of people went to the parties but hung out in the respectable area where nothing illegal occurred. Harry will have been in that area with the people who were photographed to make the party look respectable.

MrsRobinsonsHandprints

Interesting question. I suspect those who are most exposed will be sacrificed but that will be the equivalent of the tip of the iceberg.

He's behaving like someone who can't quite believe he's actually going to be held to account which makes me think he has dirt on some very powerful people. Are there enough "clean" people to carry out justice?

TBH, I don't really care what millionaires on the other side of the world are getting up to, criminal or not. It sounds harsh, I know, but I've got my own things going on rather than getting upset and disgusted over the actions of a man and group of people I've never met, who don't know I exist.

So why are you here?

And rape and coercion of women should be something everyone cares about.

this, Harry was not at any party, pre-party or otherwise.

He was named in a lawsuit as someone who has attended a Diddy party to make Diddy look like a legitimate person. No allegation that he did anything wrong at the party though.

Allegedly, some people were told to get out of there by 1am if they attended, because after then, things got dark.
