Sara Cox please just stop!!!

I've heard her put on a weird voice and repeatedly say, 20+ times, Scooby Dooby Doo in said weird voice. Turned off and 10 minutes later went into a shop that had Radio 2 on and she was still doing it. FFS she's paid a fortune for that nonsense and we're paying through the licence fee.

I can’t stand Sara Cox after being forced to listen to her on the radio at work in the early 2000s. Her voice is like fingernails down the blackboard!

I followed Ken. I have not regretted it.
The adverts annoy me less than Ball, Mills, Cox and Paige.

I just listen to Sounds of the 80s on Sounds from R2 now.

I haven’t liked Sara Cox after she tweeted complaining that a cinema showing she’d attended was had someone doing BSL in the bottom corner (so an accessible showing for BSL users). Thought she was an utter twat, that was well over 10 years ago.

I accidentally turned on R2 last week and oh my goodness Sara Cox was dreadful! I like her book show on BBC2, why does she have to act so differently on the radio?!

Me too. Actually don't really mind Cox and Ball (har de har) but the rest are awful, truly awful. Except Johnny Walker's sounds of the 70s, of course, and Tony Blackburn on Saturday mornings is fun! Otherwise its GHR on all day in the week.

Whereabouts are you from? I’m curious if it’s mainly Southern people that may find her voice an irritation!

Yep. I constantly veer between quite enjoying her chatty presenting style and being on the verge of switching off because of the OTT silliness. I wish she'd dial it down a bit (well, quite a lot really).
