AIBU in thinking good luck to Madge for her penchant for men 30+ years younger? She is currently dating a man aged 28 and she’s 66. People are outraged by it - but she’s having fun and I think good luck to her! She loves to be controversial and she has the money and the power to do what she likes!

Why is it ok for men to date much younger women but when this is reversed everyone is shocked and outraged and “concerned” for her safety??!! She’s fine! She’s loving life. It’s so silly and pretentious anyway, all this faux worry for her well-being.

This is fairly normal for rich older men to date younger women. People don't bat an eyelid. Go for it Madge!. To be fair at 66 she is probably (definitely) in better shape than I am at 45.

I am not at all concerned for her safety, but I think she does care what people think. Perhaps not about her dating, but certainly about other things.

I have never been a fan of either her music or her persona, but she can date who she wants to.

It was during her English landed gentry era. Tweed corsets and hounds and stately home, parties with aristocracy and rows with freedom to roam ‘plebs’ wanting access to the land. Pre social media but great role playing photos I recall. They had a child together too.

Segue but Tracy Chapman. There's someone who really doesn't care what people think, and has aged brilliantly. That's an excellent, strong woman for me.

Does anyone care? She's still trying to be relevant.

I don’t know what to think about it. He wants to be with her for her money and status and access to a very glamorous lifestyle much the same reason beautiful young women flock around rich old men. I can’t imagine knowing someone is only with me for what they can get. It’s like Kris Kardashian and her much younger man. There’s a faint whiff of desperation.

Look, I absolutely think that Madonna should and can do what the fuck she likes but frankly she comes across as a dirty old woman dating men as young/younger than her kids. If she were a dude I’d think the same.

The Playboy Mansion is widely regarded as seedy as fuck. As is Leonardo di Caprio and his habit of ditching any partner once she gets to 25.
