Laundry.
It never fucking ends. It's just the sheer volume of it and the dread at putting it all away once dry.
The thing I'm most looking forward to about one day living on my own, is having only one lot of washing to do.
What about you?

Mobile phones. Argh. Life was so much nicer without them!

Baital · 05/08/2024 10:10

Dog hair

My DH?

singularsensation · 05/08/2024 10:11

Laundry, also having to cook dinner every night (and lunch during school hols)

Royalshyness · 05/08/2024 10:11

My difficult mother

but seriously - thinking of what to cook every single day as everyone eats different things in this house

BMW6 · 05/08/2024 10:12

More seriously - DUST

Imagine never having to dust again, EVER!!!

User050105 · 05/08/2024 10:12

Cooking. Closely followed by laundry.

Kriscross · 05/08/2024 10:12

Illness and disability. Life would be better without those. All the other stuff is mere fluff in my opinion

Dog hair

My mum's rescue Staffie recently passed away. She found one of her hairs inside a photo frame the other day! They got everywhere. I don't know how owners with long-haired breeds cope.

Yes, it's particularly noticeable during the holidays.

The necessity of going to work.

Why I wasn't born independently wealthy is a mystery to me.

SailingRoundtheWorld · 05/08/2024 10:17

Dogs.

You can't go anywhere without the fuckers stinking all over the place.

hazelnutlatte · 05/08/2024 10:18

Cooking. Between trying to make sure we eat healthily and 2 fussy kids who like different foods to each other I dread the nightly faff of trying to make something everyone will eat!
