Totally disgusted by those rioting in Southport

Southport has experienced the most unbelievable tragedy.

Their emergency services had to respond to probably the most traumatic calls they’ve ever had, yet tonight they are being attacked by thugs?

The latest is that these people are destroying people’s homes to get bricks with which to throw at the police.

I am heartbroken, bewildered and disgusted. How dare they destroy the homes of that grieving town.

Pissed up thugs don’t occur in a vacuum.

If his parents are Rwandan and he was born here (I have no idea if any of that is correct) then doesn’t that make him both Rwandan and British? So either is correct but both is the most complete description.

The violence by the murdered of those poor little girls and the riots after it are not acceptable. However the reason why Denmark has changed it laws and many other places in Europe are having issues caused by some communities being swamped with new people and the fact the UK has the highest immigration in its history ever and the effects of that are so important they were primary issues for Labour and the Tories at the election. Labour used a Rwanda flight last week to remove some people here illegally from Vietnam which sounds like a good use of resources. Whether they will be able to deal with the problems people are facing is another matter - one issue Labour has discovered is that the cost of hotels etc for asylum seekers is higher than they had thought and of course lawful net immigration being so high is the bigger problem in terms of housing shortages etc than illegal immigration and also asylum seekers. These are not issues on which discussion should be banned and it is by not listening to people that you end up with more problems.

Surely joint enterprise could see everyone identified as being part of that mob, being charged with ABH of a police officer, arson, vandalism, inciting violence, hate crime etc etc etc.

Most people don't seem to realize that citizenship in UK (unlike USA for example) is based on your parents citizenship and not a place of birth. If his parent(s) obtained British citizenship or ILR before he was born then he was also automatically British. If they haven't he was Rwandan. With that being said after living here all his life he would be entilted to get it anyway.

The person who attacked the girls was not an immigrant - he was born in wales .

Even if the suspect is a muslim, it is racist as fuck to blame it on Islam in general and this one mosque in particular. It's like attacking St Paul's Cathedral because of Jimmy Savile. The same applies to any other person of colour or immigrant commiting a crime.
