Totally disgusted by those rioting in Southport

Southport has experienced the most unbelievable tragedy.

Their emergency services had to respond to probably the most traumatic calls they’ve ever had, yet tonight they are being attacked by thugs?

The latest is that these people are destroying people’s homes to get bricks with which to throw at the police.

I am heartbroken, bewildered and disgusted. How dare they destroy the homes of that grieving town.

Whatever your political opinions are, surely you can agree that a town grieving for these children should NOT be the setting for violence. How can anyone justify that?

Are you a completely stupid person with no education?.
The 17 year old in custody on suspicion of murder and attempted murder is a UK citizen born in Wales.

Well she didn't know the difference between their and there, nevermind the racist capitalised ranting

Best life possible? With the lack of education you seem to have had, I doubt it.

I can understand people’s anger.

I understand people's anger.

What I don't understand is why a bunch of EDL thugs descended upon Southport and had a riot. WTF is that about?

77% of men convicted are white.

Can we not make this about the murderer but about the victims?

Who is justifying it?

Your outrage doesn’t change the situation. Standing on he sidelines going ‘oh how bad’ doesn’t change why this is happening. It’s happening because people, irrespective of being right or wrong, good or bad, smart or stupid, have been told that they are racist for questioning how they feel about mass migration.

Shutting people up instead of listening to whatever they are saying, no matter he merits of the argument, is the stupidest thing that you can do. Strangely enough the progressive liberals are some of the stupidest people, never acknowledging the unintended consequences of their virtue signalling.

Thats what this is about.

Awful, those poor people living in that area. I can understand that people are angry, but this hurts no one but the local residents and our amazing emergency services workers.

Welsh people in England aren’t immigrants as they’re both British.

This almost mirrors the Dublin riots a few months ago. A man stabbed a number of children outside a school, there were riots the next day.

Feeling heart broken or outraged won’t help.

We need to ask why. Because all of these events have a greater propensity to turn into a protest against mass migration. Irrespective of whether the issue is immigration related or not, this is what is in danger of happening.

You can shout racist and dismiss the people doing it. But it doesn’t make the problem go away. This is how far right movements take hold. Do not sweep this under the carpet by calling people names. Ask why, despite repeated warnings, the corrupt politicians in this country have failed and refused to do anything about the rapid change in people’s surroundings, neighbourhoods, cultural experiences and assimilation impact.

There is nothing racist about calling this out. Burying your head in the sand and namecalling is utter stupidity and makes the problem worse.

What's the answer?

But I thought the offender was British born?
