Thanks, I've just been looking at the q&a on the item, it's so tight it won't loosen and has rounded off the hole in the spanner so it just twists round now!

Nchanged89 · 01/06/2024 14:19

Omg the tooth thing. It is really good!!
Just need to find some pliers to get the head off, the little spanner is useless.

Does it hurt?

No!! As soon as you touch your gum it cuts out. I hate going to the hygienist, I can't tolerate it, last time I went they had to use local anaesthetic which was awful. I'm absolutely amazed by this, just need to get the pointy head off for the gaps in your teeth to use the flat head attachment for the surface of the tooth.
My teeth feel amazing and look much whiter.
I do have sensitivity in some places but it has 5 speeds, so you can turn it down or go easy which the hygienist can't because they can't actually feel what you feel.
Give it a go!!

@Nchanged89 mine just arrived, I'm waiting for DH to get home so I can try it on him!

Have you managed to change the attachment?

@KimberleyClark Yes!! Has anyone used it)
What about Il Makiage? Looks fabulous but does it actually work that well??? Who has used it?

Yes it works. I've used it & about to order another bottle of the foundation.

KAT0779 · 05/06/2024 13:48

I tried Il Makiage, I thought the texture was ok but the colour was quite yellow/orange. I went back to them and they sent me a little survey to try and find out what alternative colour would work better, they sent me another that was a bit better in colour, but still not great. They gave me the option of either keeping both but not paying for the replacement one, or sending both back and getting a refund for the one I'd paid for. Worth trying I suppose but the actual colours weren't as natural looking as what you see on the videos.

I bought the teeth cleaner gadget after the recommendations here, it’s so good.
My teeth weren’t bad at all before and it didn’t take long to get them looking like they’d just been cleaned professionally.

I bought it too but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. I can’t see any difference. How long do you need to spend on each tooth? And how often?

Sera1989 · 09/06/2024 11:43

I really want the tooth cleaner gadget but I watched the video and it sounds really loud - is it loud in person? That sound gives me the heebie-jeebies from getting fillings! Also do you use it only on the gumline and between teeth or the bitting surfaces too?

I would buy one if it wasn't for the awful sound.

I've got fine hair & thanks to this thread I've bought a Revlon style booster. It's one of my best purchases ever.

Noted aromas.....any thoughts? Keep popping up on my Insta but I'm wondering if it's any better quality than the likes of FM Perfumes. Their markering certainly suggests so....

@CreepyDibillo i bought a load of samples from them for Xmas presents for my daughters.
Pretty good I would say and do smell like the real perfumes.

I've also got fine hair and have a Babyliss rotating brush - is the Revlon one the same? Better? Please

NeedthatFridayfeeling · 11/06/2024 13:14

I'm waiting on a dupe of the Dyson Airstrait, i have fluffy hair and honestly not sure if anything will be 1 step to straight, even 1 step to more presentable less fluffy!
I took a chance of nail wraps after seeing a Facebook ad and i love them, been using for months now.
I like the look of the plaque remover but can it get behind the front teeth? That's my problem zone

NeedthatFridayfeeling · 11/06/2024 13:22

Sorry I've not found one yet, i mean i'm watching and waiting for a dupe to be made 😄

Jooleigh · 11/06/2024 21:13

@Eeepsh
I've never tried the Babyliss rotating brush so can't say if it would be better or not. But the Revlon style booster does NOT rotate which I think makes it easy to use & control. Also I was put off buying the original Revlon one as the brush head seemed like it would be too big, the Revlon style booster has a smaller brush head, which again, I think makes it easy to use.

Lollypop701 · 12/06/2024 11:20

@Jooleigh does the style booster give volume or is it better for a straight blow dry? The baby kiss give great volume

For me I got volume. But then I'm not very good at styling my own hair & I've only got my hair if using straighteners

perenniallymessy · 12/06/2024 15:46

I got one of the ultrasonic tooth cleaners from amazon and it's great, the dentist was raving about how clean my teeth were. I do make sure I use interdental brushes regularly as well and I have the Braun IO toothbrush too which helps keep my teeth really clean.

I tend to use disclosing tablets every couple of weeks to see where I'm getting plaque build up, then I go at that with the ultrasonic cleaner and then brush again.

I also switched to Nowa toothpaste tablets that I saw on Insta and they are brilliant. I did have super sensitive teeth before but now they aren't at all and they feel so much cleaner. They are great for the DC too as there's no more messy toothpaste tubes around where they waste half of it!

Bunnyasmyname · 12/06/2024 18:40

Has anyone tried the noise cancelling eat bud things I keep seeing??

Itllfalloff · 13/06/2024 00:04

It’s all rubbish! Throw away consumerism at its worst. You cannot ‘roll’ out wrinkles…

I'm 55 and got a tiny bit started at the outer edge of the shadow area under the eye I sleep on. Can you use it there?

Sorry just seeing your question. Yes I use it there also. It really is amazing stuff
