To think McDonald's is rubbish now.
Burgers taste different now the buns taste/look different.
Yes I know its general crap fast food, but 10 years ago you would get a cheese quarter ponder and enjoy every minute, then maybe 20 mins later think you wish you hadn't as its full of rubbish.
But now its just awful.

Sorry, I disagree. I still enjoy every second of my quarter pounder with cheese meals and regret nothing afterwards!
Also loving you can now get Oasis as a dispensed drink so it's included in the meal deal!

Yeah, disagree I’m afraid. I unashamedly love McDonald’s - only have it a few times a year though. It’s better in the States though, their burger patties are superior.

It's so expensive as well. I may not regret eating a quarter pounder (though don't really like the new chewy sweet shiny cake-y bun) but I do regret the £5 I spent on it. I'm a minimum wage worker so I work half an hour to buy that.

I agree it's not as good as it was though I still enjoy ot when I have it. BK is far superior though

Don't get me started on five guys, crazy expensive and the burgers are completely different this year. Thick and tastless.

We went to the drive through last week for the first time in ages. No queue to order the food, but then had to wait ten minutes for the food to be made. Hardly ‘fast food’. Do like a Mc Flurry though.

I think the burgers are awful now but the nuggets, wraps and apple pies are still as good as ever. Fries you need to get made fresh otherwise they're a bit soggy.

Have you considered that it might be you and your tastes that have changed, rather than McDonald's?

The nuggets taste of nothing since they removed all the salt.

I'm partial to a quarter pounder but you're right, it's not like it used to be.

We tend to go to itsu if we need something quick to eat.

I think BK is way overpriced.

London Victoria Station one is vile. I couldn't believe how different the burger was. I thought they all had to be exactly the same.
Used to quite like getting a burger late at night after going to London.

Definitely not what it used to be. Even my kids don't like it anymore. I tried to look to see if their sales have gone down but It wasn't very clear.

McDonald's in the UK has become worse and worse. total rubbish now.
recently had McDonald's and KFC in Saudi Arabia and the quality for both is unbelievably better. actually tastes like a premium burger/fried chicken. they are on the more premium side of the market there and are a bit more expensive.

I ate them quite often while out there and did not have the sick feeling at all.

I prefer BK.

How old were you 10 years ago OP? When I was a child and McDonald's was a real treat, I found it a lot more tasty and exciting than I do now, when I pay for it myself and can have it any time I want...

I disagree that American McDonald's is better. I found them very disappointing, with cheap-tasting food. Even the children were disappointed.

I can't say I agree. My local McDonald's is great. Food is always hot, burgers not squished, and the fries are on point for crispness and salt.

The problem is in the bread. It's disgusting.
